High Tops Roofing

Dan did great work on my roof. Was promptly on time, took photos of his inspection, got a roof leak resolved, and even knocked out some preventative maintenance. Would definitely hire High Tops again!

I had a terrible experience with Dan at High Tops. I was trying to fix a roof leak identified in a home inspection so I could sell my house and had only a few weeks until the closing. Dan came out and took a look and said he would let me know on the quote. After several messages he finally responded with a quote but never responded with availability to make the repair. Despite several more messages in which I provided more information about the location of the leak and the urgency of fixing the problem so that I could close on the sale, he never responded, not even to say he didn't have availability. Don't bother with this company unless you want added stress in your life!

At our first meeting for consultation, Dan was attentive, polite, and friendly. Prices were good and he had good products. I felt I had chosen the right company to replaced my roof.

The work is guarantee for one year. You should be able to call them with any issues after the installation, without having to feel like you bothering them. Their follow-up is poor.

Here's my experience with High Top:

The workers were okay. Although they left enough nails on my driveway to cause me to have a flat tire. I didn't mention to Dan.

Then, a week after, my ceiling started leak. I called Dan, he came over. He was annoyed at having to come over. The workers fixed the issue. So, I thought. A few month later, when we were having rain. the ceiling started to leak again, same spot.
I called him, I took pictures. He came over on a Saturday. He comes in the house. I asked him to wear the foot paper slippers. You could tell he was not happy coming over. He went on roof, did some pounding, don't know what was the issue. I was asking questions about the fans, he mumbles that he has to go, something to do with his daughter and he took off.
We had to patch and paint the walls twice. He mumbled something about compensating. He never followed up with me. Follow-up is important to a business.
Dan is great until you signed the contract and as long as you do not have to call him for any issues. Maybe he needs to hire more people to help him with customers issues.

At this point, I could not recommend High Top.

I've dealt with several roofing companies the last few years to deal with various issues that arose with my roof, but in my view, none of them had the integrity demonstrated by High Tops Roofing. Dan completed a comprehensive review of my roof and explained all the issues thoroughly. He was patient in answering all my questions and presented options for fixing or replacing. His prices were fair and he gave his professional opinion with out pressuring me toward a particular solution. I needed the work done fairly quickly and High Tops also accommodated that need. They delivered everything that was promised in a professional and timely manner. I recommend them highly!

High Tops replaced the whole north side of my roof due to cosmetic mold damage from previous years. They arrived promptly, replaced the plywood, put down roofing paper, and matched the shingles. They were very professional and did a great job. They worked quickly, as well. The whole job was done within hours and they stuck to their quote. I will definitely use them again on any other project.
