Harold is professional, welcoming and informative. He answered any questions we had during the appraisal, which was done while we waited.
I'd recommend his services to my friends and family and would use Imperial Gem Lab again!

Harold was lovely to work with, appraised several pieces of mom's jewellery for my home insurance after she was moved to a long term care home. Efficient, easy to book online, super quick responses and even free easy parking at the office. Definitely has my high recommendation!

To find out what they are worth, I made an appointment with Harold through Ann Louise Jewellers in Metrotown for an appraisal. Harold is very knowledgeable and thorough. He provided me with exactly what I am looking for. I am very satisfied and happy with his service. Only problem is with Ann Louise store. The staff tried to jam too many customers with not enough time in between. All they are interested is who will get the commission. Harold's website (Imperial Gem Lab) clearly stated that one should allowed half an hour for each piece of jewelry to be appraised. I told the staff at Ann Louise store that I have 4 pieces of jewelry to be appraised. I am surprised to find out that they only allowed 30 minutes for my appointment. My appointment ended up taking over an hour and the customer for the next appointment ended up waiting for over half an hour and the customer for the next next appointment has also shown up. I don't know how they ended up sorting out the mess. Regardless, I will definitely recommend Harold's service to anyone but the staff at Ann Louise store should allow more time for each of the appraisal process.

Thank you very much for your comments Alex. I recently spoke with the manager of the store and explained that the appointment timing should be adjusted. I hope your comments help to improve my service when I am at the in-store appraisal clinics.

Very professional, kind, and helpful. I had a few pieces appraised 20 years ago and when I got them re-appraised, he's very consistent! He answers any questions you may have while you wait. I have used him so many times at different jewellers and I definitely recommend him if you need any jewelry appraised.
