We'd charge you $85-$100 in labor. We can't offer any warranty for your parts. These kits are usually cheap generic screens. Do… more

You hate to have to use these guys but I had my work phone and a personal iPad mini that both felt the wrath of my toddler and both screens cracked pretty bad. I dropped off both with these guys and the phone was ready 30 minutes later and the iPad next day as promised. Very knowledgeable, fairly priced and easy process. When the situation arises I will be back to these guys for sure.

I chose iTech to repair my iPad because of the 5-star reviews on Yelp, their excellent website in which I knew in 3 clicks the exact price of my repair, and since it is close to my home. How fortunate to have the BEST iPad and iPhone repair near my home! I dropped my iPad to Martin, who was very kind. He told me that it would ready in 1 - 3 days. A day later on my way home from a haircut, I thought I'd check the status, and perhaps it would be ready and I could stop by and pick it up. When I called I was told it was not ready, they hadn't started, and that it was their policy not to accept calls to check on the status of your job. The gentleman was not very pleasant so I thought I would pick my iPad up immediately and take it somewhere else to be fixed. Upon entering the store, Martin asked me to wait a minute. Then the owner Tony emerged with my iPad in pieces, and he began yelling at me while pointing at his signs that say Do Not Call for the Status of your order. I was shocked, in disbelief at what was happening and very scared. I thought if you had not started, why is my iPad in pieces? "It is what you get when you show up mid-repair." Huh? I thought you hadn't started? Well, I got out as quickly as possible and took my iPad to another repair shop that ending up costing $50 more because some components were destroyed. So what I thought was the BEST choice because of the glowing reviews, ended up not being the case. These are all the facts, as they happened. I truly hope this is an isolated incident and the owner can try to be kind in the future. I'm giving them 2 stars because Martin was kind and professional in my interaction with him, and because their website was so user friendly. I suggest having Martin help you when you go to iTech.

I walked in and he seriously hooked us up by giving us a spare piece that my iPhone was missing for free!!!! What!!
You do not see that type of service and hospitality these days. Tonys tech bench is the cleanest bench I have ever seen in 20 years of doing tech work. This place is so clean, sounds weird to say about a store but it rules here. So awesome, bring you iphone and these dudes will take care of you for sure.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jessalyn C.Seattle, WA974341788Apr 16, 2018
I came in b/c my iPhone stopped turning on and T-mobile suggested me to get my phone checked out for a repair before filing with insurance.
Upon walking in, I was shocked with how clean the store was. The technician/owner came out of the lab area and went over how the whole thing works. He took apart the phone on the spot and did some quick checks on his multi-meter, and I could tell he definitely knew his stuff. He said it would be ~$100-150 to open it up, diagnose the issue, and repair everything. If he found out that it was a more complex case/needed an expensive part, then he would call to get approval to proceed.
They have a machine which cleans off all the mineral deposits and makes it brand new on the inside, which was included in the price. He explained that this is what builds up and can cause shorts, similar to when you drop your phone in water. It sounded like he really cared about making quality repairs so you'd be sure you wouldn't have to return again for the same or a related issue.
I ultimately ended up going with insurance since the phone was old and the deductible was similar to the cost of the repair + a new battery, but I am happy to recommend this location to anyone seeking a repair!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Daniel K.Orange, CA2782Aug 9, 2018
IF YOU HAVE A BROKEN APPLE PRODUCT, GO HERE, HOME OF THE SAN DIEGO APPLE GURU. This dude is a wizard and a great guy to boot!! Not only did he stick to his original quote of only $350 flat fee for fixing a MacBook the Apple store wanted to charge me $900 just to ship out, but he also took back my laptop even after it was returned to me and there were still some minor issues, and re-worked them free of charge.
Going above and beyond..this cat even shipped me my device FREE OF CHARGE after I notified him that I had relocated to Orange County and couldn't come to his location to pick it up. I would even go so far as to say he inspires to excel in my own profession. A must go for people with Apple issuesHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah H.Midway District, San Diego, CA861310Jan 23, 2021
I got a brand new Mac computer after having the same one for 7 years, and within a month of getting the new one I spilled coffee in it. The trackpad stopped working and I was frantic, and because of Covid nowhere was open to fix it or try to get a new one except iTech! When we called, they were extremely nice and helpful and told us to come in so they could take a look. Although the computer is so new that they don't have the parts for it yet, they opened it up to make sure there was no visible water damage and helped me fix the settings in my computer so that I could still use the trackpad. They were extremely nice and reassuring and quick; I would highly recommend coming here!

First class place for repair of all things Apple. I managed to crack my iPhone 6 screen, went in without an appointment at the tail end of the lunch hour and came out with a spotless new screen together with a tempered glass protector in less than 20 minutes.
When Tony opened my phone, he asked where I had the battery replaced and I told him a place on Miramar Road. He pointed out that they had replaced my Apple battery, which had worn out, with an inferior battery not likely to have a long life. I suggested he go ahead and replace it and he said that I said that I should keep it until it stops performing and then come back to him for an Apple battery replacement. Turns out I paid top dollar for an inferior battery.
This will be my go-to place in the future! Very clean (which is what you want for electronic repair), convenient and comfortable waiting area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Angie H.Lakewood, WA06Aug 13, 2018
Highly recommend!
Quote response time was super quick. Their store front is professional, high tech, and clean. They were able to repair my cracked iPad screen within 2 days. And they used original Apple parts. Price was very reasonable and cheaper than most other competitors.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mina N.National City, CA27Jul 7, 2020
