On a whim I thought I'd check out a local furniture store before trekking an hour away. I was concerned I'd run into a pushy salesperson and I was met with Kevin the assistant manager. He was very helpful and up front about anything I asked. I was so pleased with this refreshing take on sales, that I was glad to spend money there.

I am not usually a person who will leave a bad review, but this is definitely an exception. We bought an *expensive* sofa from Jerry's after considering much cheaper options online. We wanted this to be a piece of furniture that would last through a home with young children and pets, so we paid a high price for that. We were told that this fabric would be stain resistant and durable, and that if it were stained it could be easily cleaned, so that's what we went with. EVERYTHING stains this couch, including water. Any attempt to clean it makes the stains worse and at this point (6 months into owning it), parts of the couch look like they are ten years old, while we have been very careful with it. This isn't necessarily Jerry's' fault, but the way they have handled this situation leaves a lot to be desired. We reached out the first time something stained the couch and the cleaner made it worse, and we were told we were probably cleaning it wrong. Okay. We changed product and method. No product works on this couch. I finally reached back out to them, and have been given nothing but the runaround. I am told that since "no one else" has had this issue there is nothing they can do. Seriously? They have reached out to the factory and since no one else has complained, they basically told me I was making it up. Yikes. Most recently (weeks ago) I was told they would test the fabric. Since then I have not been contacted to bring in a cushion or fabric sample. Next time I want to buy a couch, I will go somewhere else where I won't be told what I want to hear just so they can get a sale. We made the decision to shop small and support a local business in hopes of receiving exceptional customer service, and ever since we handed over our money it's been terrible.
