Jonny's Towing & Recovery

Jonny literally came to my rescue early Sunday am, and took in my poor Mazda, her troubles, and myself under his wing. After sussing out probably engine issues, we made the decision to bring it to the dealership, and he gave me some amazing recommendations on how to handle the dealership once they went into to diagnose it. After all that, he drove me allll the way back home! If you wonder why he has so many reviews, this kind of service is exactly why. Absolute life saver, and the first person I'm calling should I need any other help in the future. 11/10 would recommend!

Johnny is a car whisperer - really, I'm not kidding. I discovered that my key would not turn in the ignition at 9PM and called Johnny to get a quote for a tow the next morning. The next thing I knew, I was out in the car trying a series of fixes that he walked me through on the phone to see if he could help me trouble shoot the problem (because he would rather see if it was a quick fix and not cost me the extra money). When that didn't work, he proceeded to drive all the way to Kitsilano to check my car out himself because he had such a strong feeling that he would be able sort the problem out. Within 2 minutes of him arriving, the car key had been "whispered" into submission and the car started like magic. In case you are wondering, he only charged enough to cover his gas and driving time. Johnny is personable, hilarious and unbelievably generous. What started as a downer evening was totally turned around by the time he left - I am still grinning about the interaction the next morning. If I could give him 10 stars I would.
