A small restaurant, downtown Columbus., rather unassuming. Both the pho and the Mongolian chicken were excellent! Loaded with chicken and vegetables in a delicious broth.
Service was good, friendly and knowledgeable.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 21, 2023
Intrigued by the buffet, even if it is more of a bulk thing than an AYCE one, I stopped in when I had time. The buffet trays were pretty empty at 1pm, so I passed. A little bummed, since I wanted to try it. Went with my usual test/fave items, Mongolian beef and crab Rangoon. And they were excellent. So good that though I was very satisfied, I regretted missing the buffet even more, because if those items were as good I would have had a beatific smile.
The Mongolian beef had plenty of tender beef, marinated and flavorful, but also crisped up a bit in the wok. There were the usual onions and green onions, plus carrots and a few other veggies, all fresh, and adding up to one of the best, if different, versions of Mongolian beef I've ever had. The portion was big, and that plus the accompanying fried rice (your choice) and Rangoons left me as stuffed as I would have been after piling up at the buffet.
The crab Rangoons were pretty darn good too, and pretty different as well. Wrapped up in a little bundle, very attractive. And a good filling with lots of krab bits, some little green onion pieces I think, and some flavor to the cream cheese. Another great version, unlike any I've had before.
Prices are maybe slightly high, but the quantity and quality were worth it and the location, right downtown, surely drives up the rent. Located in a little mall between the Sheraton and the theater. Easy parking at the Capitol. Probably very popular with downtown workers. Under new management, apparently, according to the sign out front. I'll try to stop back for the buffet, but as much as I was looking forward to it I was not disappointed at all in my meal.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Logan C.Hamilton, OH174227Jan 11, 2024
Expected more from the buffet. Expected higher quality steak. However, for the price it was quick and convenient. The location was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. There aren't many buffets in the CBUS area - this works in a pinch.

I've had this twice for delivery and both times it's been terrible. Today I took about three bites of pad Thai before tossing it. No depth of flavor, was sweet despite that I ordered it spicy. The egg roll was soft and floppy. Ewww.

Ordered and PAID for something extra, not only did I not get what I paid for when I called thinking they would say somethng along the lines of "we can discount next order or come and get your extras you paid for" I was told they no longer have mushrooms which is clearly stated on the list of items that come in the dish and I would need to speak to the owner. Ok, put him on.. Hes not in now... Yea ok!!! I wont be back...

Ordered the shrimp and steak hibachi. Food was a little salty for my taste buds but service was efficient. Would eat here again.

Staying in hotel and it's the Vortex coldness today so we staying in!!! Walked Down the corridor and they are connected to Sheraton yeah..!
No buffet today but I don't care. We both had chicken teriyaki, one hot n sour and one miso. Some Wings just to polish things off! Ok... NOW we have enuf food. The teriyaki is saltier than in the NW where we r from but ok. It had lots of broccoli and onions underneath yummy. I just got some duck sauce and put that on. Free hot tea and water around the corner. We snarfed and feel better now. U know that feeling u get... a bit hypo-glycemic when we didn't have breakfast...???!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 29, 2018First to Review
I came here to try this out on their first day. They have buffet by the pound and menu ordering as well. The restaurant was clean of course and roomy with table seating. The environment was comfortable and nicely decorated. The food was very fresh and hot. I had a couple of choices from the buffet: General Tso's chicken, beef with peppers, lo mein and fried rice. The food was very mild compared to what I'm used too. I was hoping for richer flavor and more spice. Next time I'll order off the menu and ask for more spice. The staff was friendly and seemed to me to be first or second generation immigrants from Asia. I'd say the cashier spoke excellent English. The wait was brief. About 10 people were in front of me and it took about 10 minutes to get my buffet selection and pay. The buffet was not super expensive. I think it's $6.99 a pound. Although everything was fresh and hot and well prepared and presented, I was not extremely impressed with the flavor and spices, but I will come back.

Well it's really not a buffet it's by the pound self serve kind of set up and then it gets weighed so we were sort of disappointed but the food wasn't bad . If we would had know we probably would not have gone their.
