La Vallée Spa and Nails

I've been here a few times, and I've always been disappointed with the friendliness of the technicians and with the quality of work. For the price you pay here I think you would be better off, going to Beyond Nails in Eatontown near the Monmouth Mall. After four tries I finally switched to them and couldn't be happier.

Extremely poor customer service- way too many options nearby to settle. Look elsewhere!

I have been a customer for the past seven years. The girl I had been seeing was great and very meticulous. She usually takes excellent care and gives great manicures and pedicures. I can go for weeks, and my nails stay in great shape and don't chip. Last week I had my nails done, and at the end of my session, I was told that my manicurist would not be doing my nails anymore and that, from now on, I had to choose a different nail tech. At first, I thought my girl was leaving. Long story short, I was told that my girl takes too long to do my nails and the salon technically can't "afford" it. LOL. They said I was demanding meticulous work, which takes too long. First, I never asked for anything extra; I only came for gel mani and pedi. Second, I am a paying customer, who pays over $100 every few weeks for nails, which is a lot of money, and for that, I expect good service. The salon gives their nail techs unrealistic time budgets to get manicures and pedicures done. Poor girls rush to serve their customers because of unrealistic budgets. The girls often have back-to-back clients without breaks. This is my opinion from going to the salon for seven years.
Also, all the bed reviews are from customers who had rush jobs done by their ail techs. When my girl spent 2 hours on my manicure and pedicure, taking her time to ensure all the layers of nail polish were adequately applied and dried, nail polish never chips. Unfortunately, the last time I was there, the job was rushed and sloppy because I only had 1.5 hours, and my tech had to rush a bit. Four days later, my gel pedicure started chipping. See the picture for yourself. I was sad saying goodbye to my girl. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to the salon. They won't have me as a client if they tell me I can't choose a nail tech who does my nails. Too bad, they were like a family to me. They need to improve their customer service skills, as they have no clue what they are doing there. By the way, they also butchered my mom's nails, gave her a nail cuticle infection once, and didn't even apologize.

Been here three times. Every experience was great. Highly recommend Ann she's the best one in there for acrylics. Super nice and super sweet.

First of all, not one employee is happy to be there. A spa is supposed to be a relaxing experience, but I always go in there feeling apprehensive because I know I'm going to be treated poorly the second I walk to the front desk. These women are supposed to make you feel welcome, but instead I feel like I'm annoying them.

Second, a simple gel manicure is over an hour long, and I leave, yet again, with bubbles/bumps all over my nails. Two of my nails are broken a week later. Im just over it here... I will not be coming back.

Got a gel manicure on Saturday June 25th, went on vacation the following weekend. The color changes and I called when i got back, which was day 10. I was told if I go back I have to pay full price. I was not looking for a full service, just to replace the color. Gel should not change colors in 10 days

Came here for the first time after a friend recommended and I love it!

Upon entering I was asked if I want a complimentary beverage from their coffee bar. I've never been asked that before. The inside was very fancy and upscale with big comfy chairs, pillows, and modern decor.

I couldn't pick a color because I'm indecisive. My kind nail specialist recommended mixing 2 colors that I was stuck between. The color was exactly what I wanted!

They took off my previous gel without any electric file or scraping. Super gentle to my nails. One nail was breaking so they glued and fixed it for me.

My gel manicure was $30 total and you can pay with a credit card. I'll definitely be coming back!

Today was my first time at La Vallee Spa and Nails and I cannot rave about it enough! I needed an acrylic fill and one nail repair. I arrived without an appointment and though they were booked, they made me an appointment for later that same afternoon. 5 min after I left, they called me back that they had a cancellation and I was able to get right in! Vivian did a gorgeous job on my nails and the price was extremely fair. I will 100% be back!

Tried to give this place another chance. They use old gel after barely two weeks my nails are chipping and breaking. Had gel done for years and this has never happened. Called the place they give you the run around and didn't even acknowledge how terrible my nails looked and gave me a rush job. I definitely won't be back poor service.

Extremely clean and large inside. My gel and dip I've had in the past usually lasts about 2 weeks and then cracks or chips- especially now with extra hand washing. Coming here I could go over 3 weeks (but my nails grow fast). My nails were in perfect shape from week 1 to week 3. Attention to detail and so many color options.
