When you are in a stressful situation and you need a break and someone to come help you out. You can count on this place. I hope I don't lose my keys again but I got this number in my phone to use again if needed, or pass it along to a friend in a jam

I locked myself out of my house at 5pm on Xmas Eve. Desperate and with terrible reception, I messaged a number of yelp locksmiths. There were a fair number of them who were unavailable for the holidays.
Though Let Me In had no reviews at the time, they were responsive and said they could be at my place within half an hour. Daniel arrived and immediately go to work - he was very kind and efficient and explained to me what he was doing. Within ten minutes I was in the house. I am so grateful that they were working on the holiday and helped me so quickly!
In terms of cost, I have nothing to compare it to b/c I've never called a locksmith before, but the base cost to have someone come out is $29. On top of that is a labor fee - which they estimated to be $19-$150 in the initial estimate. It ended up being $179 for the $29 service fee and the $150 in labor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jose S.Los Angeles, CA1553265Dec 30, 2019
I called Let Me In Locksmith to get 3 locks changed at my business. I was quoted $29 for service fee which I found fair for travel. When Daniel arrived, I asked for an estimate to change the 3 locks. Daniel said he needed to check out the locks first which again I found fair. When I noticed he began to do work, I again asked for an estimate and Daniel replied that he still needed to check out locks. I began to get suspicious and I again asked for an estimate and again Daniel ignored my request. I was very uncomfortable with his demeanor. I began to get anxious and Daniel responded by hurriedly working and then telling me the job was complete. He then said the job cost $754. $754 for 3 locks is unacceptable! And then he asked for a cash payment and wouldn't take a check or credit card. When I told him I didn't have cash, he demanded to ride with me to the bank. Needless to say the ride was horribly uncomfortable. I refused to pay the $754, asked to speak to his boss and was told that his boss couldn't do anything. I paid him $560 bc it's completely unacceptable that 3 locks fee is $754 and that he only accepts cash. Overall this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Daniel told me not to call the office and instead call his cell if I had a problem which was another huge red flag.
