This is my third time ordering from Lexi's. I got the classic Ruben and I swear this thing has a pound of meat in it, lol. You can't even fit the sandwich in your mouth. My husband gets the chicken salad on a pita and said it's really good, taste like fresh chicken not canned. I also splurged and got the fruit cup the small that was five dollars. It looks good too. Lexi's prices are pretty high $18 for Ruben through DoorDash 11 for the chicken salad on a pita regardless of the price, it's well worth it.

We took a chance and ordered again today and there is plenty of address. The sand is packed high with corn beef so I'm not complaining. they're a little expensive and it's difficult to find things on the menu. But they definitely are worth trying.
Mar 11, 2024Previous reviewThis is my first time ordering from Lexi's and although the food looks good when I asked for extra thousand island on my sandwich, I actually received zero thousand island which made the sandwich dry. Soup that I got was chicken noodle because I ordered the half sandwich half soup was OK at first. It tasted good but then you got a weird aftertaste. I took two bites and put it away. I don't know if I will try them again. So far the best Ruben around has been at Katzinger's deli.

First time visitor. I've been to Danny's Deli and of course Katzinger's.
Just so you know, it is a downtown location, so no parking, short hours, no weekend hours.
No deli counter but you can call ahead and talk to catering about bulk orders.
With that out of the way, we were in the area and decided to do a drive by. One went in one waited in the car at Lynn/Third streets. No issue.
We ordered a straight up corned beef on rye and pastrami on rye. Order at the counter and then they call your name. Corned beef has a third size, I guess it's an extra large. Smooth order and delivery process and it was busy. About 30 people seated and 15 in various stages of order waiting.
Ok. The food. CB was 5* and the pastrami was 5+*. Lean meat with just the right amount of fat. Great oversized portion, nice fresh rye bread, and I thought, both a value at $15 each. Order was Packaged with care and included a wrapped pickle 1/4 on the side.
Excellent all around. We for sure will be back, since it is a close jump from Bexley.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jul 25, 20233 check-ins
Amazing downtown Columbus spot for great food. Serves breakfast and lunch. Staff is very friendly and pleasant, always serves you you promptly. Prices are very reasonable and a must stop for breakfast or lunch for those who work downtown.

We ordered a door dash sandwich it was a hot Pastrami Reuben . The sad part is we ate it up before I could take a pic . Needless to say it was very delicious we will definitely order from here again . Some of the best pastrami I've had . Columbus has several good delis and good restaurants. This is one if you want a good lean pastrami sandwich you won't be disappointed.

Lexi's on Third Street is my go-to spot whenever I need a delicious and affordable meal. The food is consistently excellent, and every visit feels like a culinary journey to satisfaction in my mouth. I especially appreciate the comforting ambiance and the friendly staff. Whether I'm here for a quick bite or a leisurely meal during working lunch hours, Lexi's never disappoints. It's become a regular part of my routine, and I eagerly look forward to my visits every other Thursday. Highly recommend!

My dearest friend Chardon Black did not receive his food until around an hour after seating. This is just disgraceful! And again, my most excellent friend, Squire Morgan Scaife, received the worst quality food he had seen!!! (and he goes to a CMSD school)

Wonderful, classic diner food that's served up with a smile. Lexi's is right next to the Marriott Renaissance in Columbus. Rather than eat another big chain hotel breakfast, I called over to Lexi's and ordered a hash brown/scrambled eggs/bacon/toast breakfast. It was ready in under 10 minutes. This was a serious amount of food for a day that promised to be a long one. It was a great way to start the day. Bacon was high-quality and perfectly cooked as were the eggs and potatoes. They even have fresh fruit!
I got my food to carry out and ate it in my room. Do yourself a favor. If you like diner food that will fill you up and keep you going, Lexi's is a great choice.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 17, 2023
I will start off with I enjoyed the quality of the food. So I doordashed.. a grilled chicken club.. A half sandwich ( pastrami melt ) with salad ( cobbed) , side of potato salad, and chicken noodle soup.
Starting with soup. It had a different type of broth. Kinda strong on celery taste.. the spiral egg noodles. It tasted fresh and very homemade. Kinda hints of lemon zedge, too. Was good. The grilled chicken club was cooked just right. so juicy but not dry. The bun had a nice hint of sweet on it. Mixed well with the chicken.
The sandwhich duo.. the pastrami melt was thin and tasted fresh. If I lived closer, I could say that if it was hot, it would be bangin. I asked for white but got rye my only downfall. The cobb salad was a nice portion. Fresh greens. Nice cut size tomatoes. Nicely sliced eggs.. only downfall was they added bacon, and I didn't order with that. Their greek dressing has a big tanggg. Potato salad had a very mellow taste. Not eggy, not yellow. You could tell it is a homemade if you're looking for kinda bland. For me, i prefer an egg or mustard potatosalad. Overall, I will deff order from there againHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tiffany H.Columbus, OH52138370Feb 16, 2023

A good deli is the cornerstone of any metropolitan city. Well Lexi's is Columbus'. As a native Clevelander deli's are in every section of town, there are not enough delis in Columbus glad I found Lexi's. Great product and service. If you enjoy a great corn beef, Rueben sandwich it's Lexi's for me.
