Lightning Service

Stopped in to have a oil change done and was able to pull right in for that. Was then greeted by the service girl and she was asking me questions about my vehicle and so forth. Then she right away is rattling off prices non of which are the one on the big banner near the street. So I said I thought there was a special going on so she shouts out to the techs I was getting a basic service, no problem but when I had made mention of the special her whole attitude changed and was less friendly than before.
Over all the service was done fast and efficient but after my dealings with the service advisor it was just very awkward and silent until it was time for me to leave.

I've been using Grant's auto services for over three decades!
I've personally used his expertise over all auto dealerships.
He and his Chief Mechanic, John, are amazingly knowledgeable, professional and courteous.
He has solved every issue within my past 7 cars (all makes and models) and continue to do so with my current car.
He'll assess your car's problem, let you know the cost of repair, obtain your confirmation before going through with fixing your car.
He'll also order a necessary car part (again with your confirmation) if he doesn't immediately have it.
You may wait in their office for oil changes, which take about 15 minutes, and cover regular maintenance.
You may also make an appointment for most repairs, which are resolved within a few days.
I'll continue to retain his expertise and highly recommend his services for anyone with a car.

Grant and his crew are the best!! When I lived closer to their shop I always took our vehicles there for everything from oil changes to major repairs.

Even though I live 30 minutes away now, I will still go there for major repairs, as I know that Grant and company will be honest, fair, and do the job right.

They also offer a 10 minute oil change for half the cost of one of the chains - where the majority of the workers are NOT certified mechanics.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value

I brought my vehicle in because I suspected an exhaust leak. After fixing the initial (worst) exhaust leak, I noticed that I still can smell exhaust and hear noise from the front end of the vehicle. After returning to have my vehicle reinspected my concerns were quickly brushed off and I was told to "Drive on it for a few days, and its probably just the paint we put on it". I paid over $300 to get half the job done, I still need my vehicle PROPERLY fixed and inspected, and was disrespected in the process. Lighting Fast to take money out of your wallet. Don't let Lighting Strike twice!

Ive gone here for years to get my oil changed and have always had great service at a fair price. I recently got into older cars (70-90s) and found out that Grant and his team do repairs. I cant say enough about their honesty and professionalism. Very responsive to all of my questions and fixes the cars right.

All I can say is...wow! I was past due for an oil change and looking for something close, quick and affordable. I'd looked at other places in the area, but this one stood out, so I decided to give a shot. I drove up and was immediately able to pull into the garage. I kid you not, it was literally 8 minutes from the time I pulled in to the time I left. Granted, I got the most basic change, but this was still 20 minutes faster than even the quickest oil change I'd had in the past. Each person was so friendly, and as previously mentioned, the price was unbeatable! I can guarantee I will continuously go here as long as I live in Parma!

By far the most honest and top quality automotive service in the area. I wouldn't even consider using another. Fast, friendly service with great customer communication. Grant will take good care of you.

One in there for an oil change and came out with the check engine light please do not go to these oil change places and try to get your car fix they always try to upsell you my car was fine when I bring it in there and worked like crap when I pull it out

My family has been going to Lightening Service for over 20 years for oil changes and any car/truck problems. The other day I tried to change a headlight, but the old light was stuck. So, today I stopped by Lightning Service (without an appointment) and Grant changed the lightbulb for me in minutes. Grant runs an honest business. He won't try to up sell you or over charge you. This is the only place to go for car care needs.
