I've been a member of Los Gatos Toastmasters Club for almost a year now. From Day One, I have found it to be the most organized and waste-free hour of the week. I always look forward to going and participating as a speaker or a functionary. You can sign up to evaluate speeches, be the toastmaster, check grammar as the grammarian or even count filler words as the "ah" counter. There is always a chance to do some impromptu speaking as well! When I joined, I was teaching English one on one, so I felt I needed to brush up on public speaking skills to possibly start an English learning podcast, but joining TM actually opened new doors to me and now I'm giving English workshops to large groups of people. Thanks LGTM!

Thank you Los Gatos Toastmasters! Since I started at the club 10 months ago my confidence in public speaking has grown and developed tremendously. The club is very supportive, filled with professionals, and always encourages me to keep growing. As the club is hybrid online (Zoom) and in person, I've found the Toastmasters Pathways projects great ways to keep on track with speaking and learning objectives, smaller but very important items on reducing filler words and focusing on presence have been helpful, and being part of an environment of individuals that all seek to excel in this important skillset is invaluable. Since joining I've had to speak and give presentations to in person sessions of 80+ engineers live, and several virtual sessions of 350+ virtually, and being a part of this club and holding myself to be accountable to take feedback and reach higher levels of proficiency has made all the difference in greater confidence and execution. Plus I've made some great acquaintances within the group as well. Thank you and looking forward to many more years of membership as the thing that most people fear the most, public speaking, gets easier and more comfortable with every practice session.

If you're looking for a smaller Toastmasters club where you will always get a chance to speak, this is the one to go to. They meet the first and third Tuesday of the week and are friendly and open to new members and guests.

I love this group. From the welcoming, friendly members, to the low/no pressure enrollment policy (you can come as a guest as long as you like) to the ability to hone invaluable public speaking skills in a super supportive, skillful environment - it's all been invaluable to me. I recommend this group to anyone who values becoming all they can be personally and professionally. Membership fees are very fair and new, online tools for tracking your progress and challenging you in many ways has just been rolled out at this club. Do yourself a favor and visit this club today to see for yourself.
