Lux Nails Organic Spa

I've been coming here for 3 years and today I had the rudest experience ever. There is a new pedicure lady in the salon. I went to her three weeks ago and she did good job. However today, she was frustrated that the light polish color I chose wouldn't go on my toe nails smoothly. I just told her to let it dry then try again. It went on smoothly after waiting for the layers to dry. My next service was dip so I had to move to the next station. She threw my shoes by the chair and walked away. To top it off! ! The owner acted like he didn't know me even though I get my nails done every month and made a rude comment to me as well. The wife was wonderful as always. I will not be returning anymore.

Hanna and Judy are most awesome!! Came in today, got quickly seated Hanna took me, and Judy did my S.O. They took a good amount of time and care with us both, and had us laughing!

I stopped in for a pedicure and immediately got sat in a chair to soak my feet. It took about 20 minutes for someone to start doing my pedicure. The guy did a decent job but the atmosphere was slightly off-putting. There were people waiting to be serviced while employees sat on their phones, other guests seemed to be irritated as well. The $30 was decent but I don't think I will be back.

Avoid at all costs! It's the day before Mother's Day but we got there early and was the second person there. I'm immediately sat in a pedicure chair and once i picked a color & took my shoes off to put my feet in the water. I told the nail tech Bill or Billy or Bobby or whoever that was water was too hot and he said "no it's not!" ... how you gone tell me? Y'all in here BOILING my feet! Then he started to rush once people started to come in. He kept complaining about his workers being late but not an excuse. Regardless, he did a HORRIBLE RUSHED job. I will not be back. Oh & he asked if it was my first time there. I think he knows it'll be my last as well.

Great location. Easy to make online appointments. Hanna did my pedicure today and my toes have never looked better! Friendly staff and great prices.

Tried out this salon because I was in the area and in desperate need of a pedicure. Lady doing my nails seemed very inexperienced, the cuticle clipper was used to yank at my cuticles and they were essentially ripped off. It was extremely uncomfortable/painful and the entire time I was worried she would make me bleed. Afterwards I noticed my nails were filed unevenly and the nail polish was painted poorly as well. Would not recommend.

Also, the employee did not have her mask on properly while doing my nails (nose was exposed).

I LOVE it when Hanna does my nails!! She is so detailed an AMAZING job!! Everyone here is so sweet and helpful, and I haven't had a single negative experience. I moved here 9 months ago and found them by chance. I'm so happy I did!! I love going here for my nails.

Went for a pedicure and dip manicure. I was never asked or told to wash my hands and never saw the man who did my nails do so either. Just a note, the massage chair I was in wouldn't turn on. I asked if the sample cards with the Chisel dip powder on them were all of the colors they had and was told yes, but I could see other brands of powder on the walls. The gentleman also apparently couldn't find the white color shown on the card so he just found one and it looked white to me but after doing a few layers, it's more transparent. Just not what I wanted. He then used a gelish top coat on my dip mani?? Never had to use a curing light with a dip mani before..and it started peeling off the NEXT DAY so assuming that's not right. All in all, not a great experience and won't go back.

They do such a great job here! I've never had a better French shellac or pink and white acrylic Highly recommend all of the nail techs here but especially Joe!

Tried this salon because it was close to my office and have been back a few times since. Joe is fantastic! I get the dip and he makes it super thin (I ask for it like this). He does great at giving recommendations- and just overall does a great job. This will be my salon as long and I work in the Farmington Hills area.
