Main Smoke Shop KC

Overall as far as the selection and service in the KC Metro is concerned this particular shop seems to be the least annoying-you know how it feels to be bothered every second while you are trying to browse at your own pace (*take note competition further into Westport) while the used car salesman vibe is radiating from the employee-and has a pretty decent amount of product to choose from. If you come in knowing what you are looking for you are pretty much guaranteed to find something very close to it.

It's also a great place to just meander around and kill a few minutes of your time. The number of cases isn't overwhelming and the prices are lower than what you would find in "headier" shops but that also means the artistic value of the glass work isn't as high quality, so like I said before know what you are coming in for and don't expect local blowers to be on display. The true testament is how flexible employees are with you and the level of respect they show you and Joseph exceeded my expectation on both of those fronts, so that was pretty rad. He is a cool dude and is there to offer advice without being pushy, he will hook it up! I have enjoyed Main Street Tobacco and Gifts for many years and it has held my top place ranking for shops of this category in KC since I've started coming here even though it's not the most "reputable" in the community, to me none of that matters when the product is comparable and usually cheaper than what I can find elsewhere.

Customer service was great. However, the cart I purchased wasn't working with my battery, so I brought it back into the shop because I suspected it was already leaking and was seeking help to fix the connection or just a get new cart. The worker broke MY battery in the process of trying to fix the connection, he then gave me a $2 discount on a new $12 battery that worked with my new cart. Long story short, the cart stopped working and started leaking the next day after I bought it, so I wasted money on a new cart and battery that both ended up not working. Don't go here.

TURN AWAY. Do not go to this establishment for your hookah needs. First off I found it very odd that several items in here do not have price tags. I was looking for a new hose. They told me that because of the brand it was 35 bucks. I asked why it was not marked with a price.

I was going to lunch at q39 and seen a smoke shop called OG Smoke shop. Went in found the same EXACT hose for 17.99. And what do you know everything in this store had a price tag. The clerk was very friendly and was disgusted when I told her about my latest experience. Will NEVER go to this shop again and I encourage you to boycott it as well. That's dang near double the cost. But it's easy to rip ppl off when you don't have prices clearly displayed.

Lesson learned. Turn away. Don't spend your money on such shady criminals. Go to OG smoke shop which is less than 5 mins for this poor excuse of a business.

great variety of delta 8 and 10 products - I like it when they test out their products. I recommend to check out this business if you're into Delta products and other options that they have

Don't buy Kratom products from here. I know it's way overpriced at head shops yet I gave it a try. The worst was buying a liquid shot. Was told by the impatient clerk it was the best one they sell. 8ml bottle so it can't be more than 5-10 bucks right. Nah...over 27 bucks and it was diluted garbage. Should've gone with my instinct and left. There's a better shop a few mins away.

This is my favorite smoke shop. Everyone here is knowledgeable, friendly, and always gives me the best deals ever. I won't shop anywhere else and I really don't need to when I have the best selection here at the best price! Love this place.

Came back two years later and they still have the same ownership hooking me up with great deals. The glass and vape selection has doubled and they have way more options for extracts now. The hookahs they have are dope too and they can take care of whatever you want. Go check em out probably the nicest biggest selection in town.

Quite possibly the worst service I've gotten. Came in to get a KM hookah. Was persistent that all I wanted was a KM hookah. The kid there sold me the shittiest hookah, had messed up rubber, bowl was nasty, metal pipe stand was rotten, and the metal ball was missing.

I was assured that I was getting a KM hookah before purchase as well and was charged the full price. I tried contacting the company multiple times via email, no response at all and owner was never around to answer my calls.

I wouldn't suggest anyone going here. They take advantage of you. Complete rip off.

Not really knowing what I was doing, the guys working, helped me out! They were very friendly and easy to work with.
The items I purchased per their recommendation has worked out great!
