What a fantastic option for desserts on Buford Highway! Amongst the usual French-influenced bakeries such as Sweet Hut, Mozart Bakery, White Windmill, etc., as well as the newly re-invigorated Thai-style rolled ice cream places, it is great to see Mango Mango getting its just desserts, pun intended!
As the place's name suggests, mangoes are their specialty. If you got a chance to read an extensive review of Mango Mango in Atlanta magazine, you would know that they take a great deal of research and interest in making sure they get the freshest and most delicious mangoes daily for their amazing mango-based desserts. The mango ice cream, the mango mochi, and other mango desserts are a true testament of their high-quality. However, One of the items that does not get as much press is their excellent, impeccably made, and delicious mille crepe cakes. To date, I have tried almost all the varieties and they're all incredibly delicious in their own way. The titular mango mille crepe cake is amazing and can't be missed. So are the matcha, chocolate, and Oreo. The chocolate and Oreo mille crepe cakes are a recent addition. They are listed on a special menu so I'm not sure if they are there for a limited time only. However, I urge you to try the durian mille crepe cake. Now I know that durian is an acquired taste and for some it's a no go. However, just like the delicious durian shakes that you'd find at Vietnamese restaurants such as Pho Dai Loi, the durian mille crepe cake at Mango Mango is simply amazing and has the taste and consistency of the best custard you can imagine. Highly recommended!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Ittiqa R.Alpharetta, GA45128Sep 7, 2019
Very cute dessert cafe. Service is prompt. Seating is cute. Food is delicious. I had a mango platter to get a taste of everything. It was good. The mango/strawberry/ lychee jelly with mango ice cream is my favorite. The mango ice cream tastes very fresh and natural. The fruit quality they use is amazing. I wish they would turn the AC on as it can feel warm.

Came here to try some mango desert because everyone was talking about this place. There are lots of mango deserts on the menu, some durian deserts, and other Asian deserts such as sweet red bean soup and glutenous rice ball soup. We came on a Saturday night and this place was packed. We had to wait in a line but it moved up quickly. The place smelled like durian, which is something I enjoy, so it didn't bother me. If you are not accustomed to the smell of durian, you might not want to come in here. There were no more spaces at the tables, so we sat by the high counter space by the back of the shop, which was fine. We ordered the Mango Panna Cotta (S3) and the Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice Cream. Both deserts were very delicious. My friend and I both thought that the Panna Cotta should be a soft solid/jelly like texture, but the Panna Cotta in the Mango Panna Cotta was completely liquid. That was kind of weird to us. I have no complaints about the deserts here, but I thought the price was a bit higher than what I expected. Also when the water came, it tasted like bleach. My friend almost threw up after she tasted the water. Obviously, we didn't continue drinking. Other than the high prices and the bleach water, everything else was fine. I might come here a few more times to try the other deserts, but will definitely not be here often since I can't afford such expansive deserts.

Absolutely one of my favorite dessert spots in the area. Located in an Asian infused side of town you are sure to find dinner near by as well if you're a fan of Asian cuisine. It's a small store front but it's really jazzed up on the inside. As for seating, they offer a short high top counter along the rear wall as well as lower level tables that seat about four I've gone many times and I've never had to wait to be seated. Most desserts, of course, include mango! All of their included ice creams are AMAZING, and my favorites would have to be the mango bowl with mango purée, glutinous rice balls, mango ice cream, and mango chunks...or the sticky rice egg with vanilla ice cream, toasted coconut, coconut purée, and mango chunks. You can order things to go and I've been able to make a fifteen minute drive home and everything survive. The staff is for the most fine although I've had a few sour apples I enjoyed my visits just the same!

Mango Mango has delicious mango and other fruit flavored desserts. We usually get the mango, strawberry, and lychee classic dessert; the mango pancake; a waffle with mango ice cream; or mango ice cream by itself when we go there.
