My roof was leaking this Winter and I was fortunate enough to find Costy and Mass Tech Roofing. Costy and his team are great workers and get the job done in a clean and professional manner.

Costi and his crew installed a new roof, repaired and capped my chimney, replaced a skylight and installed a new front and basement doors, which I love. The men were very professional and cleaned up really well.

If the world was ending and the only thing I needed to survive was my roof fixed, these clowns would be the LAST folk I would call.
I could detail the incredibly lame and worthless attempt they made, but it's not worth my while or yours.
Just don't bother. These guys are just useless.

South shore roofing was the best price from the three folks I contacted for siding and roofing our 3 bedroom cape house. We contacted one independent owner operator, one general contractor, and them. The service was also exceptional, guys worked 12 hour+ days, cleaned up at the end of each day, and their attention to detail was significantly better than the original builders.

Can't recommend them highly enough, and I already did to my neighbors.

I did a fair amount of research before hiring a roofing company. Talked to some people that I trusted and decided to go with South Shore Roofing. I had spoken with them at the home show so I was already familiar with what I was looking for. They did the estimate in a timely fashion and their price was in range with everyone else so based on the recommendations from others I decided to use them. Communication with Tom was a little lacking, and when I called to find out when I was going to be able to schedule to have the job done, I was told that the roofers were coming the following morning. There was a little breakdown in communication in that nobody told me I had an appointment. I'm glad I called as it would've been quite a shock to wake up to the roofing crew at the house. They got here and got to work straight away, I have a fairly large roof(~35 square) and they were able to complete the job in one day. The job they did looks really nice, but I did notice that there was an area that did not get flashed so when I brought it to their attention, they were back that Saturday to complete that job. I would recommend them based on their promptness and efficiency, but had I known that they were going to be so messy, I might've thought twice about booking them.
I have Koi Ponds and specifically asked them to tarp them so that I didn't get roofing material in them and they failed to do that. Also when I came home from work, they were still working, and the place was a mess.I had shingles and roofing material in my ponds, all over my yard, and hanging from my shrubs and trees. They had put down protective tarps when stripping the roof, but during the install all the trash was just left to fall where it landed. They saved the clean up till the end and did an OK job, but I am still finding several old roofing nails in my driveway, on my porches and decks, and around my yard. I spoke with Tom and let him know what a mess the place was, and he said that he would address it, so hopefully the person after me received a little neater service.
All in all, I am think they did a great job, I just wish they were neater and that they performed better clean up

After buying a house that we knew would require a significant amount of roof work, we went comparison shopping for licensed contractors on HomeAdvisor.com. The first company we contacted replied with a quote, having used Google Maps as a basis for their estimate. We never even heard back from the second company we contacted. South Shore Roofing distinguished themselves from the start. After we requested a quote, the owner himself (Costi) showed up to gather the information he needed to provide one (and it matched up to the penny with what we paid--no hidden charges, extra expenses for additional labor, etc.). He spent a great deal of time carefully inspecting the roof, asking questions and providing options and information all the while. He was careful to explain everything about his methods, from how he determined if a potential worker was qualified to the methodical manner in which they would carry out the various tasks required for the roofing work needed (all of which were described in detail. He took the time to ensure we understood what he would be doing and why, what options we had in terms of roofing materials (and how he obtained these), even providing samples to help with color choices. In short, he was as thorough in his assessment and as transparent about his process as could have been hoped.
We received an official quote the next day, along with copies of his license information, insurance information, and scheduling options. The office administrator (Wendy) was prompt in her responses to all of our inquiries and when notifying us right before the work began--on schedule.
Unfortunately, accidents happen, and one did: the individual hired to drive the dumpster to our house to leave for the roofers starting the next day tore up a rather large chunk of our admittedly somewhat cracked driveway. We spent an anxious night worrying over possible resolutions, but all this turned out to be absolutely needless. The next day the Costi put the dumpster up on wooden planks to protect our driveway and to allow the dumpster to be removed without further damage. He then patched the driveway himself before we could even ask if the matter had been brought to his attention.
The work proceeded exactly as Costi described, and watching the workers do their jobs was like watching a well-oiled machine functioning perfectly. The result was a delight. Costi made sure not only to periodically inspect the job during the day, but to look after his workers (his first words to them after arriving for one such inspection were to ensure they had taken their lunch; only after he was satisfied that his workers had all that they required and were well did he once again double and triple check all the work done since his last inspection).
Afterwards, Costi made sure we were happy with the results, taking us around the house to point out what was done where (and why) before telling us that we didn't have to pay that day. We were more than happy to. He also asked about other plans we had for home repairs/improvement we had told him of, offering a variety of helpful tips, advice, etc. He and his workers were thoroughly professional and absolutely committed to ensuring we were pleased with every component of the job from start to finish.
We simply cannot emphasize enough how highly we recommend South Shore Roofing Inc. They will not rest until you are happy with their work, and we know you will be.

I had my roof completely done over. The representative from Southshore Roofing showed tremendous regard for the customer experience. Mr. Kosti demonstrated great understanding of the process and was able to convey what can be expected from his company services. Ms. Rachel T. was quite reassuring through out the entire project process. They were able to provide several pricing options, and what each selected feature were about. They allowed myself to select the best options.

There were no hidden fees in comparison to several other roof companies I had contact with. Hidden fees such as warranty purchase charges, gutter charge, nor broad TBA charges after the project began, rather Southshore Roofing provided a 25 yr workmanship warranty and selected product warranty as part of the overall purchase.

I also opted to go ahead and have Southshore Roofing do a complete Vinyl siding of my home. They were able to deliver while insuring my home was sealed from the elements.

All though there were numerous rain days, they were able to move the project diligently along and keep a time structure. They kept the project clean, and made it a terrific customer experience. I would definitely recommend this company! If you are looking for great customer regard, and excellent services.

I reached out to 3 other companies before deciding to go with south shore roofing. I was recommended to them by a coworker who had used them before. They came out to be the cheapest out of everyone else, even half of what the highest bid was. They did my roof in one day and the cleanup was great. I am very satisfied with their work and they deserve recognition for it.
