Memo's Towing

This guy and he's son angel are lying frauds!!! I called these guys Tuesday on a truck they had for sale on Craigslist and they told me it ran great, it didn't have any check engine lights or mechanical issues. So I drove down here yesterday to Fresno from Salinas, ca with my wife and two kids to see the truck in person and get the feel for it. It started nice, it shifted went into drive and reverse smooth. I asked if I could drive it and he told me only in he's tow yard which only allowed me to go 15 mph tops. Seemed like I hit the jackpot 1800 for an immaculate truck. I scored! and speaking to memo in person he convinced me telling me it was he's personal truck and that he hasn't had any problems with it. So I bought it. (I drove off he's tow yard feeling good and happy with our new truck). Once I hit the main road to go the speed limit 35 the transmission started to slip and didn't want to go into the next gear. Check light finally came on so I pulled over and called memo back. I explained what happened and he claimed that he didn't know why it would happen but told me to turn off the car and disconnect the battery and it would turn off the check engine light!!! ( now I know how they make the check engine lights disappear). Sick dude!!! He has no morals, no values. After speaking with him which wasn't even 10 minutes since I left he's tow yard he said that it was my problem now and hung up on me!!! So people please stay away and do not buy any cars from this guy!!! I had to get a room for the night and pay a mechanic another $2k for a new tranny. No, I'm in $4k in the hole!!! Stuck in Fresno till Monday which is when the transmission will arrive at the mechanics and hopefully be installed by Thanks memo for your dishonesty

I needed help jump starting my car. I found this place on Yelp. Memo got here in the 20 minutes he stated. I was apprehensive at first since he showed up in his vehicle and not a tow truck but then again, my car didn't have to be towed lol. He had an apparatus to start the battery, it wouldn't start, but said not to worry, he would just use his own vehicle's battery. After pushing my car out of my driveway, he was able to start my car. Memo was very nice, he was the lower price of the other places I called, I was very happy I found this place here! I would highly recommend.
