Cute shop, fairly reasonable pricing and funky furniture. The only thing I don't understand is why so many shops are popping up with this midwest mom farm chic style that seems to be everywhere. Rustic shiplap with some sort of bold calligraphy on it, you know what I'm talking about. Or the bad signage with phrases about tequila, messy laundry, or something..... they are meant to make you laugh, but I can't imagine changing money for lame generic art prints like these. The I love you to the moon and back is literally on EVERYTHING right now. I don't get it. Just because tj maxx can get away with selling things like this for $10 doesn't mean a boutique should cater to that style and charge upwards of $45....? This review is getting negative, and I didn't mean for it to be. Because they do have a lot of gorgeous things here , nice candles, interesting snacks, plants, furniture. But I wish it started and ended there without all the mom jokes about wine. I guess it cheapens the feel of the store! We are getting a lot of "boutiques" in Grayslake now ever since blacksmith closed, and I just don't know if anyone can really do it as well as they did.
