Good evening Tania. I had to take a couple of hours to digest what you said and initially was not even going to respond because we both know that mental health issues are real; but because I single handily built this company off honesty, hardwork, and integrity I could not in good conscious become another victim to you and go unheard! Let's start from the beginning! I did absolutely everything to save you money and time! You were given three employees instead of two. The contract, my website, your bill of lading, your quote, and all documents clearly state that for the rate you were given ($100.00 an hour) that you would receive two crewmembers, and you got three at no additional charge! You had a specialty item (an over 500 pound marble table that all moving companies charge extra for and require at least three to four employees to move and we provided you with a fourth employee to help move the table and didn't charge you a dime extra because we at Mike-Ah-Haul-It LLC know what it's like in these hard times and did everything imaginable to make you happy, earn your referrals, and save you money! We worked non-stop for you and did things that no other moving company would have done without taking one break! When we arrived at your home, you were not prepared for your move. Stuff was all over the place (and I'm being nice with my description) and we had to work around all your things which was unsafe to make your move happen; but again you were rushed for time, the apartment was in disarray, most of your things were not properly packed and you did not have sufficient boxes, packing materials, etc.; but I still gave my team the green light to make the move happen for you! We at Mike-Ah-Haul-It LLC believe in women rights and equal pay for equal work, but it was clear you did not share that opinion because you seemed disappointed that two of the three employees that showed up were women instead of men; that's unfortunate! We wrapped every single item with both blankets and industrial strength (top of the line) moving wrap and were asked to move things that were already broken and not put together well and when you identified an item as being broken; (which was only a tv stand and a 3-drawer black metallic filing cabinet) we did not dispute your claim; but immediately told you we would deduct the current value of that item for your move. We even let you determine the amount you believed the item was worth without any dispute, because we believe in complete customer satisfaction! No other moving company does this! Per your moving contract, you were only entitled for a reimbursement at a rate of .62 cents per pound and we not only exceeded that, but literally gave you the current value of the item on the spot; no hassle, no hesitation, no argument, no bad vibes, no problem; we accommodated! No other moving company does that! We were on time, in uniform, and professional during the entire move and did not charge you a dime extra for using our boxes, our wrapping material, our blankets, or discarding all the trash and excess boxes you asked us to do! You specifically said if we got rid of all your access trash (which we did) that included boxes, trash, and other items you wanted discarded at the old apartment and from your new apartment that you would be happy, and we accommodated with a smile! We made two trips to accommodate your move and only charged you for one. We did not even charge you for the time it took to make the 2nd trip (mileage nor labor). No other moving company would have done that! We even went back to your place at no charge to remove a washer in which you would have been charged a significant amount of money by your landlord because the person who you said would come and get it; never did! Even after all that I still took an additional $75 off your move, and you stated you were happy with that! The hardest thing about being a business owner is that you can give some people the world, but they are still not satisfied! I wholeheartedly appreciate your business and wholeheartedly wish we could have earned your referral; but again, we at Mike-Ah-Haul-It LLC believe in people's right to an opinion even if it isn't based in reality. When I sent you this very email; prior to you threatening me; you told me not to reach out to you aging. Days later I see this review and now it makes even more sense! You taught me a very important lesson; you can't reason with someone who refuses to be unreasonably! Anyone who knows me! Anyone person or customer who've ever interacted with me know the things you have said is not true! However; we live in a world where people do bad things to people all the time for absolutely no reason and even good people like myself have bad experiences they don't deserve! I pray you find happiness and peace! I pray you get the help you need and deserve! Most importantly; I thank God for giving me the faith and strength to continue to follow my dream!
