Needed a new pinion seal, went up to make an appointment. Think they were booked out about 3 weeks (that's the only drawback). Made the appointment, drove my other car while I waited. They replaced the seal, said the rear diff fluid was like mud. Flushed it and refilled it as well. Total cost was less than other shops wanted for just the seal. This has been my only encounter. I've heard a ton of good things. I will most likely come to them first if I need anything else done and would recommend to others. They were also very friendly and very easy to deal with.

I was referred to Mike's by a friends dad. I made an appointment and the woman on the phone was very pleasant. They were pretty booked out so my appointment was in 3 weeks since it wasn't a huge emergency. I had a small leak around the radiator cap.
When I arrived on my appointment day, I was greeted by a very nice woman at the counter and then the mechanic and I went outside and I showed him what was going on with the leak.
I chose to wait for the vehicle and the little waiting room was comfortable... it had, heat, water and a bathroom. After about 30 minutes the mechanic came and brought me back into the shop so he could show me that a piece at the top of the radiator had to be replaced and while he was looking around he found that a serpentine belt tensioner was missing and the serpentine belt was worn down to the point it could of snapped at any time.
I was thankful he found it so I could get it fixed and not get stranded somewhere.
So since I was going to be there longer than expected I asked if they could do a couple other things like an oil change and wiper blade and headlamp bulb replacement.
All in all it took about 3.5 hours for them to fix the radiator w/flush & fill, replace headlamp bulb, replace rear window wiper, oil change, install new tensioner and serpentine belt. I was happy I got it all taken care of but of course all this comes with a price tag and I am not going to say it was cheap but it was work that needed to be done and they seemed honest and had great service. I would rather support a family owned business than a dealer any day. It is also nice to know a shop with some talent for the future.

If you have a diesel. Mike's knows his diesel trucks. Done a lot of work for me over the years.

For about past 7 yrs mike and his wife and daughter and mechanics have dealt with first my truck issues due to landmark ford and eventually having no choice to put a crate motor in it .and my cars almost drop of hat for me to help and accommodate me .and I'm a nobody my car needs temp sending unit and thermostat they was booked out 3 wks but they know my situation told me bring in they will work it in .I can't say enough about this family or operation .they are very good and always try to help especially when they have to deal with a pain in butt customer

This shop was highly recommend & by the service I got I will have to disagree.

So I took my truck there to Mike's shop to because it was making a transmission noise( april 23 ) and I when I got there told me it was a flex plate I needed to be replaced so I said okay let's replace it so that got fixed or replaced and then when I picked it up (april 27 ) I noticed there was some oil under the truck where the truck was parked at his shop so I said huh I took it home and I noticed in the morning after that there was some oil leaking from the transmission but it was very lightly leaking so I took it to my shop the very next day and he told me it's just a residue from from sealing it so I said okay so I drove it a week and the transmission just started pouring (may 5th )and I took it back to Mike's and he said oh and maybe it's a torque converter or transmission pump. so I said okay then then on May 10th I called me around noon saying that that here had already ordered parts as in torque converter and pump so I said all right then around 4:00 p.m. they called me saying that my truck wouldn't start and that they had to push it into the to the shop to actually inspect it now. so what he said was that there was metal shavings in the in the transmission pan so that I needed a new transmission so what I never understood if the torque converter or was it the actual transmission so or I never understood how he came up with the conclusion that it was a torque converter. I wouldn't recommend this shop because they only assume the problems without doing the diagnostics or tests they just assume on what the problem is so to save someone else a big headache and lots of time and money I would just look for another shop because the attitude and the customer service from the owner was trash.

These guys are great! I have been taking my truck here for 4 years after I became disgruntled with the dealership I was using. They have fixed several items that the dealership either misdiagnosed or just flat out said they couldn't fix it or didn't know what was wrong. Super happy!

After having my car in a couple different shops and none of them could figure out was was wrong with it, I decided to take my car to Mikes Truck and Automotive. I was very impressed by the great customer sevice. They figured out what was wrong and had it fixed very quickly. The price was also very reasonable. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends. It is great to finally find a place that is honest, affordable and reliable.

Absolutely recommend Mikes Auto! They diagnosed and fixed my power stroke once. (Wasn't a easy diagnose). They fixed it but a few days later a unrelated problem popped up and I had it towed back. They once again diagnosed and fixed it very quickly. Very reliable and honest company, with great customer service. I don't have anything negative to say about Mikes.
