A decent pedicure but rude staff and unwelcoming atmosphere

I have gone to Missy Nails in the past and found them unfriendly and unkind. I have taken it for granted. Today took the cake.

When I arrived 2 ladies were ahead of me, that was fine and the staff seemed very welcoming to them. They asked what I wanted. Asked me to wait and then put me in the pedi water.

I have had this happen before also where you are stuck in the water but have no manicurist. After sometime a gentlemen comes and begins working with me. He seems preoccupied, unorganized and is talking to someone via a microphone, headset.

He keeps leaving and coming back. When done says he can't do my manicure since I don't have an appointment. I can't believe they took me in, jack me around and then left their part of the treatment undone.

I asked if someone else could and the owner said, "next time make an appointment". As I left I explained to her that I felt I had ordered a service that they did not finish. I was disappointed. She said, "next time make an appointment."

My parting words were, " I didn't realize that you had become a full appointment salon. Your door indicates walk ins welcome, maybe you should change your sign." Her reply, "everyone know you need an appointment."

Not everyone, I didn't know but I didn't say it. Be aware, no appointment, no service.

Came here for a fill. I got my service, paid with my card, tipped the lady in cash and left. At 8:30 that night I received a call stating that they think they charged me twice. I checked my bank app and informed him that this was not the case. I did not see a double charge. They asked me to come in the next day to make sure i "wasn't charged twice." I gave a possible time I could come to settle the issue.

The next morning I checked my account and had not been charged. I decided not to drive out of the way to settle a dispute that did not exist. Later that day the guy from Missy Nails texted me asking me why I did not come there yet. I informed him I had not been charged twice and that I would not be driving out of the way to "see if I was charged twice." If there was a future issue I would dispute that with my bank.

He then informed me that they did not charge me at all (in the first place) and that he needed me to come in to charge me for the service. I feel that if an employee made a mistake, and did not charge me, then it was not my error. The funds were on my card, and as a customer I should not be inconvenienced due to their mistake. If someone did not run the card correctly, perhaps that should be taken out of their salary, not require me to drive back to their business. This is not good customer service!

I have had all good experiences at Missy Nails, for both manicures and pedicures. It's not the closest to me, but I keep coming back for the great service!

Walked in and able to get in right away for pedicure and manicure. They did a great job on gel for my toenails and Tessy did an amazing job on the dip fingernails with ombré and even hand painted the palm trees! Thank you! I will be back!

Love Missy Nails! Been coming here for years! They are all so sweet and the place is always so clean. My go to is Tammy and she is the best!!

I been here twice now! Van is the best!! She is super creative and can replicate and create her own designs! She's super sweet and flexible when making appointments! If you're looking for amazing nail art and great service! You definitely have to make an appointment with Van!

As a business professional that works very closely with my clients on a personal level everyday, I was highly disappointed in the way I was treated at my appointment. I had Jay and he was not friendly at all and was rude. He rushed through my appointment and was very aggressive with the way he was handling my hands and had a poor attitude. I remained quiet for my appointment because I could feel his irritation the entire appointment. When I checked out after he ran my card, I was about to sign and immediately he said "I forgot to charge you and extra $10 for the red tips." I gave him his tip and the extra $10 in cash which wouldn't have been a problem but he should have added that in the initial price. No matter what kind of day I am having personally, I leave that at the door before I greet my guests and always treat them with respect, kindness.

Originally went in for just a pedicure but the staff just seemed so great. Ended up getting a full set with friends. The tech was very detailed, filed off any annoying bits, and was just high quality. Took slightly longer than the average nail appointment, but worth it!

This place is great! My mom has been going here for 20 years, and the service has been great the entire time. They recently refinished and completely upgraded the salon, and it's beautiful. They have a ton of pedicure chairs now, and everything is just so modern and fresh. They also recently started to offer complementary beer and wine! How perfect is that? Great place.

Note: you cannot tip via your credit/debit card. Your tip has to be done in cash.
