I had a leak in my home, which I thought had been fixed from a handyman I used in the past. The rain we had 2 weeks ago, the water was dripping into my bedroom. Morris Renovations was referred to me and they came out immediately. I have had other roofing companies come out and this is the first time that a thorough check was done and I got real answers. In the past, I was told "you need a new roof" and I knew I had about 5 yrs left on the roof, I have paid for "patch jobs" and still I knew something was wrong because I can see the plastic buckling on one section of my wall that had been repairs before. Luis came out from Morris Renovations and he found active leaks that I didn't even know about and no one else saw. He also saw that instead of the leak I knew I had being properly fixed, tar was placed over the leak. When he came back to do the repairs he took pictures. There was a hole in the wood under the shingles; a large hole. So the "tar" which should never have been used, actually did nothing. We had snow the next day and then pounding rain on 1/9/24 and I was not worried about water dripping on me as I slept! Great, thorough, honest work.

Luis came to fix my rain gutters and did a fantastic job! I had a hard time finding a good quote from other companies, but they did provide me a reasonable quote, and the job looks done by professionals and not a handyman. I will contact them again!

Sliding door installation.
rough opening was not measured correctly. it was at least 3 inches too narrow and 3 inches too short.
to take up space on the top, they broke apart the old door and stuffed it in the gap at the top, the sides where filled (mostly) with foam.
It fit so poorly, they took longer screws from the old door.
no felt or barrier on the sill.
good job on the metal work around the window. I guess they have to be good to hide the terrible craftsmanship.
Calls to the sales person go unanswered.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Walter P.Chester, NJ6474Oct 3, 2021
A contractor that actually responds and keeps a promise - a completely foreign concept in today's world. Fair prices and excellent service - all you need!

I genuinely DO NOT know how this company has this high of a rating. This is just about the shadiest, least professional, and most integrity-lacking company I've ever witnessed in my life. We bought a house which came with a new roof on a ranch (LESS THAN 2 years old when we purchased). Chimney flashing, vented soffits, new water/ice shielding, shingles, and plywood spot repairs done. 7 months after moving in we noticed the Sheetrock all over the inside bowing and cracking at the tape mudding and cracks in various areas in the house. Over time the Sheetrock was waterlogged and was able to push it in easily by hand. The large section of Sheetrock and various others were destroyed, as well as having water all over the roof joists, waterlogged insulation, and mold developing on the inside of the sheetrock. By chance we called this company since it's local that admitted to doing the roof on the house for the previous owner. They scheduled a day to send a tech so I missed work to be there, but they no-call-no-showed.I called again explaining my ceiling is cracking apart and I found mold and missed another day of work, only for them to send a SALESMAN! who knows nothing about roofs and wouldn't even look at it, and tried to upsell me on new tech solar windows... so I called for an inspection and 3 other companies for estimates who all explained how awful of a job they really did. What was explained was they only installed step flashing on a small section of the chimney (didn't even install it correctly, didn't cut it in to the brick, and used adhesive everywhere to block water) and overlayed the valleys of the roof around the chimney backwards, making water go under the shingles causing water to leak at the chimney...where there was no flashing . They also left gaps between multiple areas of shingles on the roof. They also just put tar around plumbing pressure relive pipes that already cracked all over. And the biggest problem lies with the fact that they installed the roof with absolutely no roof ventilation, not even a ridge vent. They installed vented soffits but most people and all roofers know soffits are an air intake and roof venting allows the moisture to escape the roof, especially for roofs with no attic. I called and they were reluctant to even tell me what work was done. So a week later and another day of work missed later, they send the same tech that installed the roof for the previous owner. He lied about the step flashing (telling me it was installed all around the chimney which I saw for myself it wasn't), lied that there were no leaks anywhere on the roof (which I was shown by inspector and 3 different techs there were), and tried claiming the vented soffits were installed and either tried fooling me or were ignorant "professionals" saying they are meant for roof ventilation (which inspector and 3 different techs explained acts as the air intake and is doing absolutely nothing to ventilate the moisture and heat out of the roof.) And anyone with half a brain knows warm air rises. So holes in the lowest sections of the house DO NOT ventilate a roof and warm air/moisture collects at the highest point of the roof . Which explains why the whole ceiling around the ridge of the house is waterlogged and falling apart. At least they had the courtesy to say they'd work with me, ghost me, then call a month later out of the blue once again LYING, saying they only did sections of the roof and the warranty is not transferable to cover their a**.I personally find that hard to believe considering inspector, 3 roof techs, and I saw for myself, especially physically shown by the roofers hired to fix all their mistakes while they were ripping parts of it up, that there are new sections of plywood, all new paper/ice guard, and ALL new shingles, as well as the guy who did the roof from Morris Renovations admitting to him installing a new roof. As well, as the previous owner disclosing everything within the contract to me. Thanks Morris Reno for the thousands in damages from a 2 YEAR-OLD roof. You should be embarrassed and ashamed.

Luis from Morris Renovations repaired our roof & gutters that were damaged when we had the hail storm a few weeks ago. He did a great job cutting the trim & siding to match the rest of the siding. He was very professional & cleaned up after the work was done. We highly recommend using this company & especially, Luis!
