We love Lisa! The patient care is so personable and time is always taken to understand the patient and their history.

The doctors are fantastic, but the support staff is overwhelmingly awful. After being diagnosed with a medical condition, I was told to come back in a month to get more testing done to see if the medication needs to be adjusted. I went in a week before my medication ran out, like I was told, and they didn't have the order for the test. I had to wait 20 minutes before a nurse was able to get me back to the lab for a blood draw. I was told I'd have the results in 3-5 days. A week later, I finally called around 2:30. I was informed my doctor was out of town and wouldn't be back for a week and a half, but they could have another doctor look at it. They said they would call me back. At 4:45 I called again, and the secretary was extremely rude and condescending, because I was calling so late on a Friday. I told her the nurse was supposed to have called me, and she finally transferred me back.
The nurse had obviously forgotten about me and rushed to find a doctor to look at the results. She came back and told me I tested negative for Diabetes, which had nothing to do with why they did the test. I had to explain to her 3 times what they were testing for and why, and she told me that I had obviously not listened to the instructions to fast for the test (which I was never told to do and has never been required for my other family members with this condition). I kept explaining to her that I hadn't been told to fast, and that we just needed to see if my medication needed to be increased. She finally said that the levels we were testing for were high, but they couldn't do anything unless I came in and did a fasting blood test. I asked her to just refill my current prescription and specified where to send it, and she told me she was sending it to the store but in a different city.

My doctor came back from vacation and we didn't receive a call. Thinking my mother might have better luck, she called to find out what needed to be done. They kept trying to tell her that I wasn't on any medication and hadn't been diagnosed. My mother kept explaining that I had been diagnosed almost two months ago, was put on the medication, and told to get retested to see if the dose needed to be adjusted. The nurse kept arguing with her, then informed my mom that I am positive for the condition and need to be on medication. My mother then explained, AGAIN, that I am already on the medication and we just need to know if I need a higher dose. After another 5 minutes of explaining, the nurse finally told us to take the medicine twice a day. Even then, the nurse didn't understand that I am already on the medicine and that I would need an additional prescription so I have enough pills to take it twice a day.

Like I said, the doctors are fantastic. But the staff? Completely incompetent and rude.

I have never been treated so well at a doctors office, there is so much personal attention and they really care about helping you. If I had to describe this place in a few words, I would say Balls Deep in Awesomeness. Dr. Blake Rapier is an amazing man and doctor. I suffered with a disease for years and no one able to figure it out. Dr. Blake with his many talents figured it out and has always been on top of his game. He cares, knows you by name and, your families names. I am grateful for this doctor and his entire practice.
