My Home Circumcision

My husband and I were so blessed by Gadi. He brought kindness and thoughtfulness with him into our home. His prayer over our family was lovely and we felt very calmed and comforted by his methods. The circumcision for our son was under a minute and it was surprisingly low pain for our little one. We couldn't have had a better experience and are so grateful he was able to come do the procedure for us.

We are forever grateful to Rabbi Levy. We are located in what sometimes feels like a bit of an "island" here in Steamboat Springs, CO, but Gadi was able to make the journey to us, and perform our son's circumcision. He was so kind, gentle, and patient. He explained everything to us in detail, and truly put as at ease. After the procedure, which was less than 2 minutes, he swaddled our son, and we all took a walk outside, and everyone (including baby) was at peace. I would recommend him to anyone!

We were so blessed to have our circumcision done by Rabbi Levy. We live in Washington in the Seattle Area and could not find one Mohel who was willing to perform a circumcision without a vitamin K shot. We weren't comfortable injecting our child with such a high concentration of vitamin K that are given in the shot, which I found kind of strange. We searched everywhere within Washington and could not find anyone, and had almost given up hope. I stumbled upon Rabbi Levy's Colorado website stating he was capable of performing a circumcision without the shot. I called him right away hoping he was going to be in the Oregon area soon (as stated in his website he performs the procedure in Oregon) we were in Luck as he was in the Oregon area and willing to travel to us in Washington. Talking to Rabbi Levy over the phone my Partner and I knew he was the guy for the job.

Rabbi Levy came to perform the procedure in our home, which to me was very special as it was a comforting setting for our son. Rabbi Levy was very through about letting us know how the procedure would take place as well as after care for our son. He made sure everything felt in the room felt positive and that everything was calm and said a really beautiful prayer before getting started. He was extremely professional, trustworthy and came with Steril equipment. the procedure was done quickly within 2 minutes and we were able to assist him in aiding our son. Our son was not at all traumatized and Rabbi Levy made sure to stay a while after to make sure everything was calm and everyone was ok. I was able to nurse my son with no problem afterwards.

It was not done in a traumatizing Hospital setting where my friends told me stories of how their sons are wheeled to away from them and strapped down to a table, instead of being held by parents. If we had another son we'd definitely have Rabbi Levy assist us again. The care he has for the family and their sons, the professionalism of his work, the fact he was willing to help us and travel to us, we definitely made the right decision enlisting in his care

We found Rabbi Levy online when searching for a Portland area Rabbi to do a Jewish bris, and circumcise our newborn son. With just a few days notice - and during a long holiday weekend no less - Rabbi Levy kindly and graciously made himself available to do this important ceremony for our family. He was simply amazing throughout the entire process - he patiently answered all of our questions via text and phone, alleviated any and all fears we had about the procedure, and made us feel so comfortable and at ease the moment we met. He has the most wonderful, kind, and caring personality, a calming and warm energy, and made sure that we were completely comfortable with the entire situation before he performed the bris. He thoroughly explained every step, so we knew what to expect, as well as how to provide care for our son after. He provided all-natural herbal healing ointment (which worked so well!) and our son healed up so nicely the next week. Our Pediatrician even commented on how well the procedure looked. We could not be happier with the experience, and we feel extremely grateful that we found Rabbi Levy. He created a beautiful and meaningful ceremony for us that we will always treasure. Thank you Rabbi Levy!!!

Could not have been more impressed with Rabbi Levy. He kindly worked around our schedule and came to our home at a convenient time. He explained the entire procedure and thoroughly answered all of questions. The procedure itself was less than a minute. I was impressed by how quickly and accurately his hands moved. My son, afterward, stopped crying almost immediately, which left me in awe. Highly recommended.

We found Rabbi Levy online and even though he isn't living in Denver anymore he visits often and was able to see us. He circumcised our son on day 12 of his life in our home with us. It was a very calm experience and I knew Rabbi Levy cared since the initial phone call when he got to know us a little bit. He explains the whole procedure very well and it only took 1 minute once he got to work. Our son didn't even cry! Or bleed a single drop! We saw the pediatrician the next day for our 2 week check up and they said everything looked great. I knew from the first conversation that Rabbi Levy was a great fit for our family. Even before the circumcision, while my wife was still pregnant, he was checking in on us to ensure everything was going smoothly. On the day of the circumcision, there was a peace about Rabbi Levy that calmed everyone including our son. His knowledge and expertise was evident as he explained the process and during the procedure. His care of our son was amazing before, during and after. After, he held our son and calmed him down while we got our breath! He ensured that we knew everything we needed for aftercare. He followed up with us to make sure everything was still okay. You don't get that kind of specialized care from a hospital! By sharing this special time with him, we truly believe he is a part of our family now!
