Despite being located in a section of Scarborough shared by countless great restaurants, I find myself regularly wanting to come here for food.
I've tried more than 7 of their naans, and none of them have disappointed me. Each one has just enough toppings stuffed inside for me to feel satisfied which eat bite, but not so much that the naan falls apart.
On this occasion, we got a Bihari Kabob Naan which was rich, creamy and garlicky, as well as a Pizza Naan which was cheesy and filled with vegetables. Both we great and being able to have some of each helped to make sure we weren't overcome with a particular flavor, particularly garlic from the bihari naan.
The mango lassi is a great compliment to any meal. I've also had one of their chai and it did not disappoint.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 9, 2022
Second time ordering from Skip the Dishes and the food is very consistent! Same taste, same look and reasonable delivery time.
The butter chicken, Texas bbq and tandoori chicken were good, but my favourite is the smoked brisket naan. Some naans will taste the same because they use the same sauce. All are topped with sesame seeds.
The Halva Naan (semolina pudding with saffron, cardamon and pistachios) is soft and runny, not too sweet.
Great fusion to try, something different!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Mill R.Toronto, Canada029248Feb 20, 2022First to Review
A small walk-in shop with some seating. 16 seats (4 seats at 4 separate tables)
They have a lot of great stuffed naan options. Only a couple chai options in spite of the business name, ha ha.
We found the saffron chai tasted a lil flavorless and the kashmiri was more flavorful. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.
I had the keema (ground beef) naan. It was cut into quarters and it comes with a prepackaged smoked garlic sauce that usually comes with a pizza. However they have quite a few other dip options that's about $1.25 each.
The keema naan was not super stuffed and filling compared to Naan Guys in Milton, but was satisfying enough. I would say it was tasty. It is filling enough if you're going to eat it yourself and it is good for a light snack if you're sharing half with someone else.
However due to the portion I would say this is probably better priced at something like $8.99, not $16.99
I would definitely try this place again in a while if I want something unique and I'm willing, for some reason, to pay so much. Check it out for a quick and interesting bite.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Joe H.Pompano Beach, FL16Jul 9, 2022

Their stuffed naans are delicious! Staff is patient and friendly. Cheap it's not, though.
