Beware!!!!!
Northwest performance painting.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! This is an awful company who not only cost us thousand they robbed our home! Joseph Gonzales and his crew are a HOME OWNERS NIGHTMARE!!!!! JIM AND I hired them to paint and do wood work in our 4000 sq. Ft home. After almost a month into the job the owner Joseph Gonzales sent me a request for payment via text message. He did not email an invoice or breakdown of costs. After no converstaion, 22 hours after receiving the text message he sent another demanding payment with the threat to stop work. We spoke and let him know for business purposes we were called out of town and he would have to wait a few days for payment. We sent him $3000.00 via PayPal as a good faith payment and assured him when we came back he would be paid in full. Before we were back and while in meetings with a team Jim manages he received about 9 phone calls in a row. Jim sent them to voice-mail as he could not answer during a corporate meeting. Immediately after we received more threats via text message. Jim contacted Joseph Gonzales and explained he was in a meeting and was unable to take his call and reassured him we would be home in a couple of days as previously discussed and reminded him he would be paid in full at that tine. Joseph apologized again and we made a mutually accepted payment date. When we came back into town I called to get an update on the house as we had furniture being delivered. I got no response. Worried we went to our house to check on his progress ourselves and found he had done aproximatley a third of the work on our house. It was very concerning as the agreed upon completion date was three days away and we had already hired movers and had scheduled installers and deliveries ect. The bill we were sent via text message was for 3/4 of what we were quoted for the entire job yet he hadn't finished more than a third of it. We contacted him to set up a meeting at our property to discuss his completion plans. He did not respond. We told him to take the next two days off because due to our work schedules we could not meet him at the house until then. We wanted a propper bill with an invoice with an explanation of charges and a concrete plan on how the work would ve completed on time. We told him not to enter our property, add or remove a thing. Even after the lack of professionalism we were desperate to just get our house ready to move in and had hoped we could still get back on track with an acceptable plan of completion. Instead first thing in the morning the next day which was our mutually agreed upon pay day he showed up at my residence and in front of my children and guest accused me of nonpayment. He then handed me a formal threat to put a lean on our property. This was 7 days after we received a bill via text. We went to the house and he had indeed removed his equipment along with the $4000.00 in supplies we had already paid him for. We then met with him were told there was stain missing from the supplies we paid for and he had no explanation as to where they were. We wanted this nightmarw to end so we paid him in full and fired him. This cost us thousands as we still had an unfinished home covered in plastic and drop cloths with no doors on any room ect. We had to stay in our other home and cancel the movers and all deliveries. We just moved in and in doing so went to the garage where we had been storing our new houseware. We bagan to unpack to start our move in process. To our heartbreak we found many empty boxes. He and his crew robbed our house upon removing their own equipment. They stole our pots and pans, our knife set, toaster, meat thermometer, garage organizer, tuperware and other small kitchen gadgets. This was over $1500 to replace. I have contacted the Owner Joey Gonzales and have gotten no response. Merry Christmas to us.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rachel B.Tacoma, WA04Jun 13, 2018
This company is run by a 21 year old boy! and his young party type friends. They trashed our home and destroyed valuable art work and ruined our carpets and left pain on most of the fixurters.. We had to pay $2500 up front. They would start on one room, paint one wall then start on numerous other area of our 3700 sf home. they piled all of our valuable furnishing in a pile like a bon fire! the painting was horrible like little kids finger-painting! there were streaks all over and they were too stupid to know to take out the trim around the recessed lighting. so streaks all over. we were later told by our kitchen contractor that the "boys" and Joseph were talking on their cell phones most of the time and just slathering paint around. They thru fast food garbage all over our home and hid it behind furniture. Joseph or Joey refused to take our calls or text message or respond to emails. He supposedly is bonded but would not give his business information. He uses this little boy with a young wife and child sob story to make you feel sorry for him and like he is changing his life. It is all an act! this boy is a soft spoken shark! My family had to shell out another $5500 to repaint the damage Joseph and his crew did and we still have damage carpets and damage valuable art work and light fixtures.
It was a nightmare!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
