Nouvelle Nail Spa

Since moving back to the East Coast and have chosen the Maryland Burbs to call home. I've been visiting some really cool small businesses, and Nouvelle Nail Spa is one of my favorites for my mani/pedi needs.
The staff is welcoming as you enter. It's kept very clean and organized. They are all skilled technicians. However, I've built a good relationship with (Ryan?) and Dee. Dee is the bomb, and if you like her work, she's in high demand, so I suggest calling and scheduling an appointment.
That said, I recommend this small business. 5

I was able to call and book an appointment on Friday morning for that afternoon. I was running late and was able to push it back a few times, which led me to believe that they weren't busy or didn't get that much business. Upon arrival, I notice that inside was pretty big but also tight because they were packed. Most of the technicians had people in their chairs. They just move really quickly and were able to get folks in and out.
I got a full set with Lee. I also got a pedicure but unfortunately, I forget the boys name who did it. The pedicure didn't even last one day, which was so disappointing. By the time I got to my event the following day, most of my toes had already chipped off. It's so frustrating when you pay for a service that doesn't last. When I do my toenails myself, they last for weeks because I don't use cheap polish to begin with, as well as I use SECHE VITE (a fast drying top coat) to seal the deal. I wish nail salons would invest in this and other quality polish for regular mani/pedis.
Anyways, I absolutely LOVED my full set and am glad I found Lee. She was quick and efficient, although she had to keep leaving to answer phones, etc (maybe she's one of the bosses or managers). But I will continue to get my full sets with Lee.

This place lacks professionalism. Been here a few times. My appointment was for Heidi. Some how the young guy, with tattoos, serviced me. He got on my last nerve.

First of all, it's already rude AF to talk among each other in another language, it's safe to assume they are talking about us.
# 2. To have those silly Air Pods in your ear while your working on a customer. I couldn't figure out the entire time if we was talking to me or not. He was on his phone the entire pedicure.
Once I got off the massage chair, and went to nail dryer. That was it. I stopped getting gel pedis. He never checked on me, or nothing. Nail salon looks a little grimy, and bathroom could do better. There's better options in the Kentlands.
Avoid the young guy.

Heidi did an amazing job with my holiday nail design. First time there and will definitely be back.

Went for the first time and not the best experience. I said I was in for 9 o'clock appointment but because I didn't say the person's name, I saw two other people. They never asked me what my name was and if I was here to see someone in particular. I guess we can both be blamed for that however, when I mentioned it, they put the blame solely on my shoulders. They did not seem apologetic at all. After I left I ran some errands and by the time I got home my gel nail manicure was peeling. I called to let them know and the guy who did my nails was irritated at me because I was irritated. Not good business practices at all. I had to go all the way back to get my nails done, again no apology. I left feeling pretty deflated like I had done something wrong. I will never go back!

I have been going to Nouvelle Nail Salon for about two years. Amy has taken great care of my nails and I have been generous with her as well. About 6 weeks ago the only appointment available was at 5:00 on a Saturday evening. I took the appointment reluctantly because I know they are busy in the evening. Amy kept me waiting for 45 minutes then she was incredibly rude to me. When I told her nicely that one of the nails was stuck underneath she told me not to tell her how to do her job or she'd kill me. Really?? Is that something you say to anyone? Especially someone who has been nothing but kind and has tipped generously?! The next time I needed an appointment I couldn't get on her schedule so I went to another tech, but it wasn't as good. She has now told me that her schedule is full and she isn't interested in doing my nails anymore. She has also been rude to two other friends whom I have sent to Nouvelle who have decided not to go back. I've recently heard other people comment on the change in personnel and the attitude of everyone in the shop.
Life is too short to put up with rude, insulting people. There's a nail salon on every corner.

I asked for regular polish for my pedicure but the technician applied gel polish, which I flagged and ultimately said was okay because it would have been a hassle and taken more time to remove. I was charged the the extra $15 for a gel pedicure - when I noted that I did not ask for gel but asked for regular- they only took off $5. This was all after confusion around the incorrect description of the deluxe pedicure in their menu (and on website), which states it includes paraffin AND collagen; somehow customers are supposed to just know that it should be "OR". The tech was kind but their mistake cost me extra money.

This review was overdue for over an year until recently I had to go their for emergency Eyebrow threading.

This place is insanely expensive .. they charged me 18 dollars for eyebrow threading which was not even best threading I got..
Even for pedicure they charge way above other and has caused inflation in rates overall in Clarksville.
After the Pedicure my feet were more cracked than ever..
their regular nail paint is horrible and they say if you want better nail paint pay extra.
I accidentally smushed my nail paint, asked the lady to correct and she gave me angry looks
Overall very unhappy with the customer service..
Very Rude , zero expression workers, they behave as they are doing favor to others by providing suboptimal services and charging insanely high.

I Do not recommend this place .. Do not waste your money and time .. you will repent

I had a appointment at 10am with Dee, she was friendly at first but I had a awful experience. Not professional nor perfectionist as a artist and she did make me bleed on the back of my pinky nail and then she put a glue on my skin to stop my bleeding. One of my stumps shape was done way off then the other and I asked her to fix it she said next time and I made her due it but it still looks and feels undone well. My Pedi paint is not done well. The paint is not even. And I still tipped her $10 when I was done she said next time you can try another person. I walked out and walked right in and asked another girl if her name was Amy she was like today is my last day I don't work here no more. So cheap to lie. Must have a cheap low personality. Some of the ladies are so bitchy there. I wonder who's the owner of this unprofessional nail salon. She/he needs to step to their business. This is my second time here. I wanted to give it a try one more time and I'm not always in town. I can't believe she asked me to come back. She was like I fix it for you next time and I saw like excuse me back of my mind. I'm not happy with my Christmas/ New Year nails. Their not cute and not done well and my pedi it doesn't even look square and the color is not done professionally. Everything is wrong
