Oscar is a horrible businessman. I hired him to waterproof the underside of my deck.
He never showed up the first day that he scheduled. No phone call. He then finally showed 2 days later with 2 workers and asked me to borrow a ladder since he forgot his. Workers wouldn't show until 12pm and sometime they wouldn't show up until 2pm. There were days they didn't even show up.
The workers were not clean or organized. They never cleaned up the site after they were done. Fast forward to completion of the project. It looks like crap. The gutter leaks and the workers butchered the soffits. Oscar said he would fix it but would never show up. He promised me that they will be out on Monday 10/24. They never showed up and no phone call.
no response from Oscar. I reached out to Oscar this morning and he said he was sorry. I told him I am going to hire someone to fix it and hold him responsible for the payment. His responses was "sorry, I'll pay! I asked him does this mean your not going to fix it. No response. So I'm forced to go to yelp and complain. This was my wife's project that she wanted done. Unfortunately, she passed before she got a chance to have it done. I spent a year looking for the right contractor. This is the only time I have ever had an issue with a contractor. I'm not big on complaining but this company is horrible. I will mot recommend OG construction. I have plenty of pictures, texts and emails to prove that OG construction is a horrible company

Poor quality and value. I hired OG to strip a deck down to it's foundation and replace all wood, included deck rails and steps. This was three years ago on a rental property. Oscar Garcia charged me $3,333 for the work. My tenant has now vacated and I had contractors inspect the entire property, including the deck. After three years, the deck looks worse that before they replaced the wood! That is because they used nails instead of screws to secure the wood. The result in 3 years is that all the nails are popping up, the wood is warped and the slats of wood, especially on the stairs are loose! I contacted Oscar Garcia, and he says there is no warranty and I was charged a price for using nails, not screws. I was never given the option of using screws instead of nails, and of course, I don't know the long term results of using nails. Needless to say, Oscar stated he remembers telling me this, 3 years ago! Yeah right! He must have the memory of an elephant if he remembers this. The invoice doesn't not detail whether nails or screws are used, so it is evident he didn't make this clear or inform me of this. Now he wants me to pay him to come fix the deck all over again. That is not going to happen! If he is a professional contractor, he clearly new that the nails would not last and the deck would then warp, which would cause me to call him again and pay him again to fix this. Beware of this company. They are not transparent at all about what they are doing and clearly cut corners on this project. Your deck might look good now, but wait until some time has passed, it will look a hot mess! I would give him 0 stars if I could.

Avoid this business at all cost, the owner Oscar Garcia has multiple listings with similar business names on yelp,google and home advisor . He is quick to take your business and initial deposit but after that good luck in reaching him. The different numbers listed for this business will lead you to different Individuals who all say they are Oscar. After I paid my initial deposit I had to do all the follow-ups and it was excuse after excuse for the delay. The nightmare came when I realized I made a bad decision to go with him in the first place and asked for my deposit. This is still ongoing. Advising I would report him to DPOR or the BBB did not create any urgency or nervousness he simply stated I have been through this before. Hard financial lesson learned. Go with a reputable company and read through all the reviews.

Oscar and his crew are awesome. Gave me a reasonable price to replace my gate. They worked with me to find a good time and did great work. Highly recommend!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OSCAR GARCIA. Scammer. FAIRFAX COUNTY HAS 14 CASES OPEN WITH OSCAR ON WORK HE SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN ON. He will be quick to take your money but will not complete the the job. I'm all for small businesses but not for ones that will be quick to cheat someone out of their money. I signed a contract on April 1, 2021 for a screen porch/deck with a gas fireplace with a stone finish and paid for the majority of the project but the project was never completed. He was not licensed until June/July 2021 but with a restricted license meaning he was still not authorized to take on our project. I've been given so many excuses on why there were delays such as not enough workers, material for the project was delivered to the wrong block, his partner cheated him and took all his money (even asking to make payments sooner than scheduled), wife got in a car accident, emergency trip out of the country, county inspector is racist (reason for one of many of the inspections failed). Oscar also was not trying to go through the county for the gas fireplace until I told him I wanted everything to go through the county. We had enough and found out through the county PERMITS WERE PLACED UNDER OUR NAMES which was never authorized. I'd give them no stars if this were an option.
