Old Tyme Deli & Meat Shop

On occasion I take an elderly friend to run errands. We always try and hit the Old Tyme Deli because time and time again we receive the best service, the food is delicious, and I am most certainly hooked on the cookies at this point! The lemon blueberry!!! And the peanut butter cookies! Some of the best I've ever had. But more than anything, I appreciate their patience and respect they give my elderly friend; they truly go above and beyond. Go, now! Give them all your coins! Support Local!

I was working in the area and decided to check this little place out. Unfortunately I came a bit too late for the plate lunches. I was told by some of the patrons and the employees that if you get there before 11:30 ish there is usually plenty of choices. When I arrived around 12:30 there were only marinated chicken breasts and they were grilling fresh hamburgers. I decided to try a burger and also got some of the macaroni salad from the little deli case. The burger was made by hand from fresh ground beef and it was not bad. I've had better and I've had much worse. They do have a few condiments you can add such as pickles, onion, ketsup and mustard. The macaroni salad was creamy and delicious. I thought the burger could've used a little seasoning but overall it wasn't bad. My meal was less than $5 so I am calling it a win!

There are a few tables and chairs where you can eat if you'd like but I took mine to go.

They have coolers where you can get drinks, frozen meats and seafoods, deli sandwiches etc. and they have a few deli meats and cheeses and fresh cut meats for sale also. There are seasonings and a few bbq sauces for sale as well.

Everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful and I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again and the next time I'll make sure I am there by 11:30 so I can have a plate lunch!

I decided to give this place a try. A plate lunch sounded yummy. It wasn't very busy, but I took an early lunch. It was Monday, so the menu included meatloaf, Salisbury steak, or pork chop. The sides included mashed potatoes with brown gravy and green beans. The gentleman that waited on me was super friendly and prompt. I ordered the meatloaf. The gentleman asked me if I wanted gravy on it, so I said sure. I never had meatloaf with brown gravy on it. The food wasn't anything fancy, but reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. She was the mastered of the prepackaged dinners. Sometimes, you need something tasty and quick, besides drive-thru fast food. The price was perfect at under $5.50. I would try this place again for lunch if I'm in the area looking for something quick and cheap.

Picked up a catered lunch they prepared for me in just a few days. The BEST food I've eaten in a long time! Pricing was amazing. Service was amazing. Lots of happy lunchers here .
