I had a great experience. Great customer service from the office and staff. Mr. Jose Rivas is a great listener and so nice. He welcome me to the shop. It's great to feel welcomed and to be able to trust the staff with your vehicle. Mr. Jose Rivas fix my vehicle which drives much better than before. The only problem is still a small jerk when I ease off the gas or go up the hill. I'm unsure if I should take it back to the shop. It's a minor issue not major though. My first visit was the oil change and my second visit was the Evap system/check engine light.

I went to a few different body shops and another shop was supposed to fix my car but they never answered their phone. Also I search and went to different shops for a price estimate in hopes to get my car fix before finding Ortiz Auto Repair. I'm glad I was able to trust this shop for my vehicle needs. The most important thing that made me choose this shop was feeling welcome, excellent customer service, and reasonable prices for customers. There is a charge for debt card's except for cash. It's best to have cash if you want to save money. It's not the shop fault though. This is now my new favorite shop for my car repairs and needs. Other than that I do look forward to see what reasonable tires they offer that could fit my vehicle. I definitely recommend this shop. They also have a waiting area where you can relax and eat if you want. Bring a jacket, it can get cold. I am happy with the services and work done to my vehicle. I will definitely return. :)

DO NOT GO HERE. I have a flat tire and ask them for a rate. They told me it was 145. I said that I am a preschool teacher in the area and I can't afford that and told them that Walmart sells the same tire for 77 bucks and the lady on the phone just said OK fine go there and hung up on me. It's despicable how this place treats teachers that dedicate their time to the children in the daily city area. Do not go here. Do not give them your money. It's not worth it. They don't care about the community here.

5 stars! My husband brought my Camry here today to fix a flat tire. They were quick, responsive and affordable. Turns out there was a nail in my tire. I thought it was because I keep on reversing into the curb because I'm a pretty bad driver. Anyways they fixed it so quickly! 100 percent recommend!

My car started to squeak whenever I hit the break and in between. It got worse while driving so I used Yelp's Request Quote feature to request quotes for this fix. One business messaged me back saying it would cost $350 + tax. I drove to another location in person and they said it might cost around $170.

Today I decided to come to this place here since I live across the street. This young guy probably in his very early 20s looked at my car, started to take off the back tires, and did his thing without even quoting me. He fixed it within 15min and told me that some metal part was touching the metal plates which caused the squeaking.

I asked how much the repair cost and he said: Just give me $20 that's fine.

I know it's a pain to find an honest auto repair shop when you don't know what the issue is. People can always overcharge you without you knowing. This guy here, Walter, was very honest and fair. More than fair.

This business wasn't lsited on Yelp. It's listed as M Yan's Automotive Repair which was Chinese owned. Walter told me they started this business very recently. I believe they moved into this when the old auto repair moved out.

Definitely support this business.

Extremely helpful, after going around the area looking for a body shop that wouldn't turn me away based on whom I am insured with, I thought of this place, as I used to always see it at the corner coming home prior to COVID outbreak. I must say, compared to the many in Oakland, the service here was fast and quick with upmost great customer service.
