I thought the reviews for this place were overstated but it's actually pretty good here.
I ordered the papaya salad, egg rolls, grilled pork bowl and pho. Everything came out hot and delicious. The papaya salad was a huge portion itself; which was very very good. The pho had a nice delicate broth. My only drawback was the grilled pork vermicelli bowl. I thought the portions were shy of what it should be.
Otherwise we would come back and try other items on their menu again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1455886Feb 20, 2024
Love the Vietnamese coffee here! It is super strong! So strong i only could have a small sip of it and the rest was for my bf because coffee makes me jittery!
As for the pho there wasn't much options but i thought it tasted okay. They bring out individual toppings and siracha/hoisin for you which i thought was cute! They also have nuoc beo upon request ($1 or $2 extra I forgot)! It was a generous amount that made the broth extra flavorful!
I would come back and try other dishes on the menu since pho is only a small part of the menu! (:Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Feb 21, 2024
Today I went here for lunch, since it was pretty close to a place I went to get some gas. The food was tasty and flavorful and the drink was great too, sweet but not too sweet! I got SD1. Roasted Oolong Tea with Salted Cheese Foam and 39. Basil Leaf with Chicken. It had a chili next to the #39 I got but it didn't really seem spicy but rather it was flavorful and tasty! The cheese added into the oolong is a nice touch. Definitely a busy little spot lots of people, they had plenty of seating too! The lady who took my order was nice and my food/drink was made within only a few mins. Would definitely come back again!

This place was so good. The sushi rolls were outta this world. I wasn't sure what to expect but I Was so impressed by this place. The atmosphere is so fun and the staff was incredible. They willingly accommodated our group of 11 and the service was outstanding. We went on a Friday night and it was busy, but even then they made sure we were taken care of and constantly checked on us. Please check this place out!!

This review is based on take out. Driving through the area, we needed to pick up some dinner. OvAsians had garlic noodles and lemongrass tofu that we wanted to try. Ordering online through grub hub was easy so that we could time it right in pick up from driving through Livermore. Making selections and choice of protein for the entree was easy. There is plenty of parking in the shopping area. Our order was ready for pick up on our arrival. Service was friendly. They have indoor seating if preferring to dine in. The garlic noodles was as expected with garlic flavor. The lemon grass tofu had an also a kick of spice with the lemon grass flavors. The rice helped tame down the spice. Overall, a good meal.

I absolutely love this restaurant. It is my go to for lunch in the Vasco rd area. Currently the main thing I recommend is the #34 chicken combo plate. So many different flavors and a pretty large portion size. Also a big fan of the chicken or pork Banh mi sandwiches. Last but not least is the SD4 green tea latte (mango) with boba. This is hands down the best milk tea/boba drink I've ever had. It's super sweet with the mango flavor so be aware of that but it's delicious if you like sweet. My son loves their kids's Chicken Pho...says it's his favorite! The staff is super friendly and always provide great service as this is a family run business. They even remember my order! Pretty cool. Ambiance is casual and quiet even when busy during peak lunch periods.

I got the fried rice with chicken and garlic noodles delivered. Both were okay. I wasn't a fan of the chicken, they tasted a bit dry and the fried rice wasn't seasoned enough in my opinion. The garlic noodles were delicious and I'll definitely order it again. Food was prepared and delivered fairly quickly, which was nice. And really large portions!

Post COVID and the food is still very fresh and beautifully plated.
Sauces have been toned down to accommodate a more American palate as in no hint of fish sauce and barely any chili.
Staff is friendly, attentive and efficient especially with all my special requests.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 6, 2020Previous reviewWOW this place was YUMMERS!!! My lunch buddy and I decided to give the place a try after coworkers said the lemongrass fish was delicious.
Got there with the intentions of getting the fish and that's where it went downhill, saw the menu and we wanted to try everything! In the end we narrowed it down to 3 entrées between the two of us and had the lemongrass fish as an "appy".
The lemongrass fish was flavorful, crispy and not oily. It was served with a side salad and white rice for $12.
The chicken and shrimp clay pot had lots of fresh veggies and bite size pieces of chicken with 3 shrimps over a bed of garlic rice for $12.50. I prefer the pot to be hot from the oven with the rice crispy on the sides.
We also got the grilled pork bun which came with 2 egg rolls for $9.50. The egg rolls were more like the size of lumpia shanghai and had veggies and mushrooms in them. Instead of served in a bowl with the salad at the bottom there's is served in more of a platter separated to allow you mix it as you wish.
We will definitely be back and next time I'm trying their pancakes!
Only complaint is the Nuoc Mam is VERY mildly flavored. - Adam A.Springtown, Livermore, CA01311Dec 26, 2023
Been coming here for years. I've tried items from rice plates, pho, ramen, and appetizers. All of their food has been some of the best quality and consistently delicious. They use very fresh and high quality ingredients in each of their dishes. You can tell they don't skimp on items and quality of ingredients. The owner is a great lady, and she has amazing dedication to keeping her restaurant at the best quality she can. Come give this place a try. You will not be disappointed
