Paisans Pizzeria & Bar

So, we ordered from Paisan's Pizzeria & Bar via DoorDash, opting for the ultra thin crust with giardinera and pepperoni. Gotta admit, the pizza tasted fantastic, bursting with flavor and all.

But, here's the kicker: that ultra thin crust was just too floppy. Kinda made it a bit tricky to enjoy it fully, you know?

Still, Paisan's is a hit around here, so we might give it another go. Next time, though, we'll probably go for a thicker crust. Overall, it's a solid spot with some room for improvement.

This place is fire the pizza is the wings are everything here is fire if you want real Chicago style pizza this is the place and the service was amazing and friendly and the best mixed drinks around

We ordered a few pizzas and a veggie pasta, no cheese for a kids party. I'm vegan, sorry, Paisans, I know it complicated for you. So they delivered it with cheese! Called for a replacement. And now I'm sitting here 40 mins later and the pasta that they made an error and said they would replace I'd still not here. I tried calling a few times only to get 10 mins or wait music. Party's over, Paisans! Will it ever arrive??? Thanks for nothing, Paisans. Oh get this...they asked for the one with cheese back. Yea, of everything we ordered, we are trying to "steal" an extra pasta. What a joke or a place. BEWARE PEOPLE!!! I Know the food is mediocre enough to eat / order from, BUT with customer service like this, hmmm. I will never even think of this place again, and yes I will tell everyone I know to order elsewhere!

UPDATE: 2hrs later and the replacement meal never came. Bravo, Paisans pizzeria, bravo.

So I am a fan of this place but have been since the nineties where they started off in Cicero ...I love what they have done with Paisans throughout the years with their expansion. We came to the Berwyn location where there is plenty of parking and the food is actually better here than in La Grange in my opinion..so I am a fan of the Luigi linguine ...but I always get a side of Alfredo ..yummy ,.And I have to mention their sauce is on the sweeter side..we made a special trip 30 miles to come here because my daughter has been craving it and even brought some sauce ...I have to say they are consistent....as opposed to Als which is a hit or miss and their wings are banging...I would definitely try them ...Thank Paisan's for another great meal!

The ambiance and decor at this location is far superior than others. There's a beautiful outdoor patio which is adjacent to the parking lot. The only oddity was the open appearance of 3-4 slot machines near the door. That said all of the slot chairs were filled and the machines were in use throughout our meal.


FOOD- Overall - 3/5
Regular crust pizza - 3/5: Decent but I wouldn't order it again. In a city known for its pizza, I'd pass on this one unless it were a freebie at a social gathering.

Nachos - 4/5 Highly Recommend. Delicious and a large quantity. Perfect for sharing. Deducted a star because we ordered beef but received chicken.

Our server was Eddie. He was professional and welcoming. A few stars were deducted because there were a few pretty obvious misses worth mentioning. (1) We had to ask for water and yet we only received one cup despite there being more than one of us. (Each person at the table seated next to us received a cup of water but to be fair, they could've instructed him to bring one per person). (2) We requested a box since only 1-2 slices were eaten (10%) and he returned with a white food container with sections (instead of a pizza box). (3) We asked to be closed out but he proceeded to take and fulfill the drink order for a table of 6. When Eddie returned with our check, we were expected to wait longer to pay. (4) We ordered beef nachos but received chicken. Fair to say, the rating should probably be a "2" but it could have been an off day.

Ideal for a large group and/or meal sharing. Otherwise, an entree and adult beverage would cost approx $30 -50 per person before tax and gratuity.

Enjoying my family visiting chicago. And here we go with the review, food is always awesome. Beer super cold . Only one problem one of the family member is pregnant and she needed to use the washroom and she was so disappointed how the washroom was. Especially the whole floor wet that she said that she almost slip, one toile full of paper and dudoo! Just terrible for being a women's washroom and while pregnant.

Nice place to enjoy drinks and pizza. Loved the service and food, perfect Saturday night. Will definitely return. Tried the Paisans Paloma drink, it was delicious.

Great food always and service. Washrooms were dirty maybe because we went in when they just open up the restaurant.

Went to celebrate 4 birthdays in February. Could not make a reservation because we had 8 people they would only reserve for 4. So we waited 2 hrs to get in. We got in took 30 more min. for a waiter. Finally took our whole order. Didn't bring bread or drinks for 20 min. Then he only brought drinks for 6. 2 had to wait until the food came to get their drinks. We also had no silverware. Waiter came and put plastic knives to cut our steaks. Didn't get real silverware until 20 min after food was served. Service in this place is horrible. Food was OK but cold waiting for utensils to cut and eat steaks. If your not in a rush and don't mind being treated like a second hand person this is the place to be.

They ruined our celebration and no apology or anything. Not the place to go.
