They catered an event and their portions were so generous! The large pancit is supposed to be for 20-30 people, but it easily fed 50. Such a great surprise! Everyone liked the food: pancit, bbq chicken, puto, and kutsinta. Sarap talaga!

Tip: Delivery costs an extra $100, so just pick up if you can!

I think this was my first time trying really authentic Filipino food and I really enjoyed it. The prices were higher than I expected given that everything is served cafeteria style (premade and scooped out from under the warmer), but the portions were honestly about twice as big as I was expecting, so it evened out to be a good value meal. I got the 2 item combo and a halo halo and couldn't quite finish either, so next time I would just get the 1 item combo and a smaller baked good for dessert.
I got the laing and ginisang munggo in my combo. Both were very good and pleasantly different from anything I've tried before, but the laing was definitely my favourite. I loved the frag coconut milk with taro leaves. The laing was a tad on the oily side for me, but the ginisang munggo was fine on that front. These are considered "vegetable" dishes so the shrimp are more of an accent than the main feature, but they were cooked well and between the two dishes there was more than enough for me to feel like I got a fair serving of protein. Especially for "cafeteria" food, this was excellent.
They have two types of halo halo but I can't remember what the one I got was called - it had mango ice cream, ube paste, flan, and jellies. I thought the shaved ice part of the halo halo was just a little coarse, but otherwise this was great. All the other individual components were delicious - the ice cream in particular had a nice bright flavour and the ube paste was strong.
The staff were pretty nice. I took a table that a group before me had just left and someone came out and wiped it down for me even though it wasn't visibly dirty. The place is pretty small, so not a lot of seating and the space is a little tight. Would be nice to see compostable plates because as is there's a ton of plastic at play. Good place though; I take it as a good sign that there were a lot of Filipino customers

Since moving away from home, I've been missing my mom's home cooking so I took a chance on this gem. At first, I was apprehensive about the price of each dish, but it was totally worth it! This place immediately took me back home.

I wish there was more vegetables in the Kare Kare, but the meat was perfect! They forgot the side soup of Sinigang I was looking forward to, but all in all, I will be ordering again.

Lumpia, Garlic Fried Rice, Beefsteak, and Kare Kare! All so amazingly delicious!!!

Looking for some home cooking and Pampanga's Cuisine delivers. It's like if your Lola cooked all your favorites fresh and with extra rice because you needed to eat it all. For real, I thought I had too much rice so transferred a scoop to my husband's plate but had to take it back LOL
It is a small place with only 4 two seater tables inside and a couple tables outside, but not super busy when we went. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure our food was piping hot.
We got their specialty - the pork sisig - with its crispy bits, flavorful with hints of calamansi and a bit of hot pepper. Also got the Kare kare with super tender beef, Bulalo with tasty broth, gong fried fish and pinakbet with a ton of veggies. Everything was delicious!
Stop by here for a meal that tastes home cooked but without having to do the dishes!

While this Filipino restaurant does succeed in capturing the authentic essence of Filipino cuisine, it unfortunately falters in the realm of affordability. The commitment to genuine flavors is evident in the dishes, showcasing a commendable effort to stay true to traditional roots. However, the drawback arises when considering the pricing, which leans towards the higher end without a proportional reflection in portion sizes or overall value. For those prioritizing an authentic Filipino dining experience and willing to overlook the steep prices, this restaurant may still offer a taste of home, but be prepared for a dent in your wallet.

Their sisig is PHENOMENAL. Probably one of, if not, the BEST sisig you can find in Vancouver area.

The ambiance is very reminiscent to those karinderyas back home.

Service is also commendable. Servers picked up the orders quickly.

Was surprised that the 2 item combo has increased to $14 back then it was $10 but it is still definitely worth it to get some good Filipino food here. If you miss Filipino food, make sure to come here and get the sisik. A lot of their food reminds me of home food its very similar with manadonese food. Cheers! Very recommended!

Great place for great Filipino food. Amazing for lunch.

I come here probably once or twice a week, always going for their combo 2 and the free soup.

All their dishes are very good. Yummy for sure.

Wish I had photos of the food but I keep eating it too fast.

Great convenient place to pick up Filipino food! It's right by Joyce station and right beside the church. I pass by this area often and always see a line of people lined up outside, so it's a popular spot!

Some of my favourites are the Filipino style BBQ chicken and sisig. Number one for me actually has to be the sisig, I love the crunchyness, the 'zing' of the lemon, and spicyness from the chilli flakes. Soooo good! I would get the large size for take out and then just eat it with my own rice at home. There are a few tables if you want to sit in to eat but it's a little squishy so I do recommend getting take out instead.

There's also a dessert window and you can just point to what you want ('turo turo' style).

The staff is super friendly and they will always greet you with a smile. I also find it nice that they speak to me in Tagalog and can tell I'm Filipino even though I am wearing a mask. It feels nice to be around fellow Filipinos!

Writing this during our worldwide covid19 situation ~ I'm SO grateful that they provide home delivery service! *As of today, they now use Uber Eats Really craved some comfort Fil food today

Was able to conveniently place my order via DM Instagram & paid via etransfer

They were kind to allow me to make a few personal requests

Food arrived on the time I requested - good portions and warm! Loved our order of their (noodles) pancit palabok, pancit guisado (requested no meat), ginataang langka (non-sweet coconut jackfruit), fried lumpia (veg egg roll& turon (sweet plaintain spring rolls - requested less caramel coating)

They even gave me free rice & soup!

Also, as requested, they dropped it off at the door, but texted me just before they did & watched me from the car to make sure I got it!

      Will order from them again!
