I've held off writing an honest review about Paul in hopes he would right his wrongdoing. Paul gained my early trust by doing a small plumbing job at my commercial property. In the process he convinced me to replace an old boiler. He required a 20k deposit. Which is a huge amount of money- no doubt, but since we had already established a working relationship I had a false sense of comfort. He took my deposit and then didn't start the job for several months. I had to threaten him with lawsuit to get him to start the boiler replacement. It was clear he had spent my deposit elsewhere and didn't have the resources to start and finish my job. So many lies and dishonesty and just overall a narcissistic person that has no businesses being in business. I ended up losing my 20k plus the attempts to collect and force him to finish the work cost me thousands more. On top of that I had to make several repairs to this unfinished boiler replacement project that I wouldn't have had to otherwise. There is another comment on Yelp by "Libby" that is eerily similar to my experience with Paul. I could go on about his deceptive business practices. I think Paul is mentally unstable and just hides it well. But as soon as any job hits a snag, you'll find out Paul's true character. I would advise anybody that comes in contact with him and/or his business to usher him as far away from your property as possible. The guy cannot be trusted.

If there was a 10 star rating this good company would deserve every star and then some. Mr. Paul is very knowledgeable and was able to solve my water heater problem with ease. I will certainly recommend his services with high regards. What an upstanding and professional company.

I could write a lengthy review about how Paul stole money from us, his poor integrity, work ethic and work quality. I could tell you about his anger issues, creating a hostile work environment where some of my other subcontractors wouldn't work if he was on the job site and much, much more. But most of this is hard to prove without lengthy documents and emails. I highly recommend that you do your homework on Paul Scareberry. I will give you several places to start: 
1) Call Rampart Supply at 303-629-6122 and ask what Paul's reputation is at their company and in the Denver area. Paul was sued by this company for fraud which led to Paul filing bankruptcy. Paul is no longer allowed in this plumbing supply store.
2) Paul works primarily with Lochinvar boilers. I would recommend you calling Lochinvar, ask for your local Lochinvar representative and ask them what their opinion is of Paul. They are all aware of him and do not approve of his quality of work or his character. They are aware of many times Paul has done bad business with other clients.
3) Do a background investigation of him. See how many businesses he has started and needed to shut down. I have met several other people in the industry that ironically know of his poor reputation here.
4) The biggest one is use your instincts. I had a bad feeling about him when I met him but he was the cheapest plumber I found. The cheapest isn't always the best option. When you meet him use your best judgement to see what kind of character and integrity he would have if things weren't going the way he planned. He was nice at first but I could tell if things got bad there would be no civil discussion on how to resolve any issues, which is exactly what happened.

I write this review not out of revenge but only to warn people of Paul's character. I would strongly recommend against hiring Paul Scareberry.

The owner Paul has been in the industry for 38 years and his knowledge of all things
plumbing and mechanic is an understatement. He helped my family with a boiler issue that was installed incorrectly by another business. It was one of those moments where if you could do it all over again, you'd have called Paul in first place. Lesson learned. Paul and his team took time out of their busy schedule
and were able to solve and correct my problems right away. They are very professional and also very friendly. Their service was worth every penny and I highly recommend them. Five stars all the way!
