PeeWee's Place

This place is a hidden gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside but on the inside...PLENTY. Most importantly good food...VERY GOOD food and at a VERY REASONABLE price. Whether it's breakfast (served any time) lunch or dinner, they have something for anyone's taste. Just went in there and had their breakfast sandwich with goetta, ham & cheese on an English muffin. It was SOOOOO good. And Molly our waitress was superb. Very nice, very friendly and very accommodating. Inside, plenty of TVs to watch whatever floats your boat. A nice outdoor covered patio area is available anytime day or night. The decorations and especially the signs are very clever and witty AND will definitely put a smile on your face. They do have happy hours as well as a wide selection of beers. Hungry and Thirsty??? Swing on by PeeWee's Place. The "Place" to be!

We had a great family breakfast this morning at Peewee's. I was a little nervous about taking our toddler to what I thought was mostly a bar, but it was an excellent experience!

The servers knew to bring our 2 year old a cup with a lid and his own small plate; I can't tell you how often we go out to eat and he's handed a large full water to spill. This sounds like a small detail, but it's so appreciated when you're trying to have a meal out with a little one.

Our food was very good. My husband had been craving biscuits and gravy, and they definitely passed the test. Their goetta and sausage were also really good.

I was looking for a diner in Covington KY and came across PeeWee's. After reading reviews and the fabulous menu, decided to try it and so happy we did on a busy Sunday! Friendly guests greeted us in the lot and we felt warm hospitality as soon as we walked in. You could tell the owner, PeeWee loves what he does and that customers love him back. The corned beef hash special was excellent and all of our selections were well prepared and flavorful. What a hidden gem!!!!

Had lunch with friends here and it was a blast. Sort of tucked away in a residential street I would never have found it if I was just looking for a place to eat, but it's well know and always crowded (at least that's what I was told) and it was hopping this day.

Surprised at how big the menu was for what I basically refer to as a tavern, but there was something for everyone. And it was all good! One of the sides you can choose with a sandwich is tater tots, I love me some Tots! They remind me of my childhood, and there were a perfect size and just enough crunch to make me happy. Had them with a Ruben, and I like they served the dressing on the side so the sandwich wasn't overwhelmed. Others had Cod sandwich, and cheeseburgers and chili. It got quiet when the food arrived cause we all enjoyed digging in.

Later I saw some dudes getting a 5 way Chili, and dang that looked good with a mountain of cheese on top. If I go back, you can bet I'll have that.

The owner is often at the bar, and family is always around. It's that kind of a place. Too bad I don't live closer, cause I would be a regular.

I was always a PeeWee's regular when I lived in the area and try to stop in whenever I'm passing through. Great food at reasonable prices. However, at some point in the last few years it's gotten extremely religious and conservative. There are bible quotes up everywhere and even the staff members wear really bizarre uniforms with Christian references in them. No major complaint here other than the uncomfortable environment it creates in a bar setting. Other than that, food is still spot on.

Sports bar like atmosphere. Good customer service, cheap shots and reasonable food prices.

Huge menu filled with affordable options. Family members and owners there daily. It's a dive but it's a good one.

Our service this morning was stellar! Went in after graveyard shift for some good hearty breakfast, and good fellowship with co-workers!
Drinks of Bloody Mary, Mimosa, and Baileys with coffee were enjoyed at the table, and our server was patient allowing us time to enjoy our drinks, but attentive enough to know the pace with which to get us fed!
French Toast and Goetta, Biscuits and Gravy, and the Crows Nest were the fare chosen by our ladies. My main standout was super crispy hashbrowns!
PeeWee even stopped by to say hello and share a joke.....I won't spoil the punchline!

Pee Wee's is the local rendition of Cheers where everybody knows your name! Good pub food.
