Petrona's Housecleaning

Petrona is extremely reliable. We called her on a recommendation from a friend for a last minute cleaning and she went above and beyond to fit us in. Within 2 days she had cleaned our entire house with phenomenal precision. I couldn't recommend her services more, the house was in great shape when we got back and we will be using her as our primary cleaning service moving forward. Thanks, Petrona!

Petrona came to my home for a routine home cleaning, I recently moved and since working from home I wanted some help keeping the house tidy. She did an amazing job in my house. She was super detailed and would definitely recommend her.

First time I've used Petrona. I found her on yelp, called her and she called right back met n saw the place and work that needed to be done. She charged $200 for cleaning a 1700 sqft condo post a very filthy tenant move out. That said it was totally empty. I expected her to vacuum, mop all floors, deep clean the counters, shower, bath, toilets, stove and wipe the walls where there was dirt, clean doorknobs, cabinets, drawers, all the little stuff, etc. She did an average job. She did not wipe down walls, nor clean counter tops deeply, nor clean the stove, left mold around the top of the shower, didn't mop all floors. Just left a lot of odds and ends and a few major things undone. It was dirty, but mostly the carpets were visibly dirty which she only had to vacuum vs shampoo. A little bummed that she didn't do much for $200 as she was super nice and stuck to her word in timing and was trustworthy. She's doing work for a friend who's home in 500sqft bigger and she's charging a lot less. Disappointed.

I've been using Tona for a few months now. She and her workers (including her daughter) do a very thorough job, and my house is always spotless after they're done.

However, I'm very frustrated with the continued confusion with scheduling. She never remembers the dates I ask her to come, and recently when we had houseguests, and I asked for more dates (which means more business for her), she repeatedly got the dates wrong. It's not nice after a herd of kids have been through your house to not have it back to the clean place you love.

I've had other issues with Tona, but this is the most frustrating right now.

Petrona, or "Tona," as she likes to be called, has been cleaning our house for 6 months. My wife and I have had other housekeepers, but were never totally happy with the job they did. The first time Tona cleaned our house, we knew we wouldn't need to look any further--the house was sparkling! We are so thankful to have finally found a housekeeper who does the job right!

Tona has been cleaning our home for over 10 years. She takes pride in her work and is very reliable. Tona is honest and thorough. Do yourself a favor and hire Tona! ... Happy and clean in Montclair! :)

They did a great job at my place on 70th ave. very professional and very reasonably priced!! Would use them again for sure!!
