Ordered crispy noodle bird nest. Standard noodles and tossed veggies. Surprised they didn't have the original rooster hot sauce. They had some knock off brand that tasted terrible.

Also, their coffee is not slow drip as advertised. It's just the pre-mix coffee package you can get from the store. When I asked why my coffee wasn't slow drip, they stated that they use pre-mix coffee package and didn't update the menu. Kinda lame imo.

This is not my first time here so I know for a fact their flavors is on the milder side. Personally I wouldn't come here for that reason alone but what can you do when choices in the Durham region is that bad. However they are consistence so you know what to expect.

We came here to have a quick bite and we were craving Pho noodle soup. We ordered 2 XL house special Pho noodle $13.99 each and pork spring rolls.

The Pho soup broth is very good and don't really taste any MSG. There's assorted meat beef balls, beef flank, beef tripe, sliced beef. They give you bean sprouts, lime and mint to boil on top.

The spring rolls are very standard. They use a rice paper wrapper and they are filled with ground pork and veggies. There's a sweet vinegar sauce to dip it in.

Service was adequate and wait time for the food was not too long. We did have to ask for another plate of bean sprouts since we ordered 2 XL Pho specials.

Ambiance is very casual and not bad if you're going with your family or quick bite to eat. Sorry, I didn't get a pic of the Pho.

Amazing customer service. I wish I had got his name, but he really took care of everyone.

My friend and I got vermicelli bowls and tofu wraps. All of the food was so good and so fresh. The beef had a little grizzle, but was very tasty. I would definitely go back!

"I visited this restaurant for lunch and ordered a large beef and tendon soup. However, I was disappointed to find that the portions of beef and tendon were very small. Additionally, the two pieces of tendon were cooked too soft for my liking. Overall, I was not satisfied with the soup and will not be buying it from this restaurant again. I'm now on the lookout for a good Pho soup place in Ajax."

Just ok Viet/Pan-Asian spot. Had an Asian food craving but didn't want to deal with the poor customer service at the neighbouring Makimono so we ordered cash pick up here.

Online ordering, and customer service at pick up was wonderful. Everyone was kind and polite. They also offer 10% off if you pay with cash.

Food was just ok. We ordered:
- Thai style beef noodle soup: bland and tasted no different than their regular pho broth (also bland and disappointing, which we had on an earlier visit).

- Diced beef with veggies: came with broccoli, celery, and a single bell pepper. Well seasoned and tender. Would order again, even with the odd assortment of vegetables.

- Salt and pepper squid: I was disappointed to see that this was squid tentacles and not the tender pieces you normally get. The flavour was great but the chew was a little intense.

- Mango salad with chicken: the worst of the lot. Though you can tell that the mango itself of high quality, it was completely unseasoned and the chicken was absolutely flavourless. Would advise not to order.

Overall, some dishes are palatable and others are disappointing. Would advise against the pho and mango salad, but their grilled platter with rice is quite good and sizzling platters are great!

The staff is either mediocre or rude, I've never had a real connection any of the times that I've been.

You can see from the photo of the pho that the noodles aren't always cooked properly. They also use flat noodles if that is any importance to your pho experience. The broth is alright - I usually end up filling it with hoisin & hot sauce so it tastes more than water & oil.

If you do come to this location, I recommend the fresh rolls over the fried rolls. The fillings of the fried rolls seem a little cheap because it is mainly veggies (bean sprouts) instead of some good tasting pork.

We ordered from here probably about 20 minutes before closing. They were very friendly on the phone and took our order no with problems.
I'd say overall, it was a bit pricey for pretty standard Vietnamese food. We ordered the X-large house special pho and it really wasn't as big as we thought it would be. The pho was not piping hot, but I'll blame it on the fact that we ordered it for takeout. Spring rolls were good. Chicken dishes were good, but nothing that would have me running back.

Moving to Ajax from Toronto I needed a new pho spot.

This will not be it.

Ordered rare beef pho.

Normally places separate the beef from the noodles, but the noodles and beef were mixed with the beef on top. Fine that's kinda gross but ok can get passed that.

The meat quality is terrible and incredibly chewy. It was stringy and almost looked like it was shredded.

The noodles were cooked poorly and they used flat noodles. I get better noodles from instant pho

Broth was just ok, below average

This spot is my absolute favourite pho spot. Often drive quite far to come here. Go to order is rare beef pho with beef and rice plate. The pho is good, flavourful and portions are normal. The beef on rice is by far the best i've ever had and never disappoints. Service is usually good and wait staff are kind. Highly recommend!
