Pop the Cork Tours is a one of a kind experience every wine lover should try! Absolutely Amazing! Those two words to best describe the dynamic duo who own Pop the Cork Wine Tours. Affectionately known as Uncle Chuck and Aunt LaTanya, they have established a topnotch business. The bonus is that you're supporting a high quality black-owned business too. I literally did a Google search for an interactive adult birthday activity, and this business popped up in my results. The activity also checked the box for identifying a COVID-19 friendly event. I immediately sent an email with a few clarifying questions and received a very prompt response will all the answers. The Saturday tours quickly sellout. So, I reserved a Private Wine Tour for me and 9 of my closest SistaGirls to celebrate my birthday. We had a blast enjoying a full day of fun and friendship as we were chauffeured by Uncle Chuck and Ms. Donna to explore 4 wineries. All the details were provided to assure we were properly prepared for our wine tour (e.g. pick-up location, agenda, proper attire tips, etc.). The 9:30 am pick-up location in Dunwoody, GA was very convenient. We parked for free in the secured parking garage (free parking up to 24 hours). We had the Mercedes sprinter which perfectly accommodated the 10 of us plus the 2 Pop the Cork Wine Tours staff (Uncle Chuck and Ms. Donna). The tour included snacks and bottled water on the sprinter--good not cheap snacks and lots of options. We stopped for a health break at RaceTrac before making it to our first winery. Each of the four North Georgia wineries we toured had a unique vibe and experience (Currahee Vineyards & Winery, Serenity Cellars, The Cottage Vineyards & Winery, and Cavender Creek Vineyards & Winery). The Private Tour includes a gourmet picnic lunch that included 4 options to satisfy all dietary needs (e.g. turkey w/cheese sandwich, veggie wrap, smoked brisket tacos, and chicken salad on croissant). The catered lunch was delish! Upon reserving the tour, you complete an online form for each guest asking about their wine preference and if they're celebrating a special occasion. Both me and another guest were pleasantly surprised with a birthday gift bag filled with goodies. This was a nice and thoughtful touch to the tour! The recommended tip for the driver was $20 per guests which we were all happy to contribute to Uncle Chuck for his safe driving skills, wine lessons, and friendly spirit. I can not give enough praise about the awesomeness of Pop the Wine Cork Tours!

My family and friends flew down from DC for the weekend to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She booked a wine tour with Pop The Cork (PTC). I've done a few similar all day wine tours but my experience with PTC was by far the best! The owner and her assistants were very accommodating and catered to our needs! They made sure your experience with them was going to be enjoyable and memorable and it was! The Birthday Celebration was Grand thanks to Pop The Cork!

I usually don't write reviews but I had to make an exception for this. Had such a great time that I had to write this to encourage others to do this tour.
Just did this tour yesterday with some friends and this was awesome! Awesome! Awesomely amazing. The locations, views and weather were simply incredible. Got to try and purchase some very unique wines. I should have bought more.... lol!
A very special shout out to our driver. Our driver and your for the day, Jerome was beyond wonderful. He was so accommodating to us, patient, took great pictures of us and made sure we were very well taken care of. All with a smile and great attitude, always (even though we kept messing up his schedule! Lol!) His level of service and attention exceeds excellent and made us feel so special. Jerome- thank you so much! You were amazing.

My friends and I went on a Tour this past Weekend! WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME From the beginning to the end, Just AMAZING! Every detail was well thought out and planned to the T! LaTanya was so nice and gave me a card. Our Driver(Jerome) was BOMB! So nice and attentive, I can't wait to do this again! Oh and the Food was AMAZING as well. If you want to do this, I 1000% say POP THE CORK WINE TOURS‼

We had a wonderful time touring Georgia Wine Country with Pop The Cork! It was easy to book the tour. La Tanya and her staff accommodated all of our needs. Our driver, Jarome, was very knowledgeable about the wines and history of the wineries. And lunch was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to tour again!

We enjoyed the nice ride, driver was very knowledgeable about the wines. We met The Owner Ms. LaTanya on our girls trip to 3 different wineries. I gave Pop The Cork Wine Tour 5 stars because they made sure we enjoyed the experience.

Where do I start!? This was the highlight of the year! First off Tania is the most beautiful and sweetest down to earth woman you'll ever meet. Her knowledge for wines and relaxation are on expert level. This is how the day went:

She picked us up right from our front door with a balloon, personalized card, and other goodies I won't mention (trust me you don't want me to ruin the surprises). She drove us there safely, but with haste which I was very appreciative of since I had no idea where we were going. Tania gave us the choice of what music to listen to to get us in the right mood as she whisked us away to the sacred mountains of the lovely vineyards. Upon arrival we were gleefully greeted with friendly staff and taught the "101 of wine tastings". The staff let us pick the wines we were interested in trying and even gave us a lesson on the differences in aromas and pallet selection dependent on which wine it was... I think I'm giving away too much now lol. Lunch was provided for us... let me just say I almost licked my bowl of tomato basil soup and begged for the recipe... (they didnt give it to me lol butttttt I did almost wipe out their sink full of crystal soap and scrubs... yes they are that good!) Just get the soup TRUST THE FOODIE! For the final stretch we enjoyed the sacred Indian mountain top views, crisp air and took in all the vibes at the last stop (she saved the best for last).

If you're stuck trying to find the perfect gift of consideration & recharged fun... dont hesitate. This review is based off a surprised birthday gift of a very vivacious 31 year old lol... you'll be pleased! Grab your girlfriends, intimate partner, or even mom or dad and relish in delight with pop the cork tours.

The tour was amazing. Our tour driver, Jeff, was wonderful. The food was fantastic...the entire trip was worth the time and money.

I was invited on this tour for a good friend's bday celebration. There was a total of 6 Ladies is her party. This was my first wine tour local or otherwise. I didn't have any expectations. I was pleasantly impressed within minutes of the adventure.

Pop The Cork is husban & wife owned business. Chuck (hubby) drove our bus. The bus was clean, had new car smell and comfortable. There was a second vehicle from Pop The Cork on the tour as well. We met up with them for lunch at the 2nd winery. La Tanya (wife) drove the 2nd vehicle.

Pop The Cork is very professional, accommodating, and genuinely nice people. There were snacks and water provided on the bus. It was rainy and Chuck made sure the ladies were escorted on and off the bus with an umbrella. The drive up to North Georgia and back was smooth--no erratic driving.

All the wineries seem to welcome Chuck and La Tanya with open arms. It speaks volumes about their business relationships.

This company is highly recommended! I don't have a single complaint or concern.
