Potbelly Sandwich Shop

I usually don't leave reviews, but this has to be said.
I ordered the Farmhouse salad without cukes and tomatos. usually not a big deal because this is all I order there. I was in a rush because I had to get back to the office ASAP therefore I could not return it.

LITERALLY HALF of this salad was brown and wilty, heck I even found several pieces if apples in it. after pulling out the brown, icky, slimy pieces, i was left with half.

this is totally unacceptable. and no I couldn't return to the store as i had pressing items at the office.

Fast and friendly staff food was good for a reasonable price. I had the chili which had just the right amount of spice to give flavor.

This location was handy when we were picking up lunch. You'll have to pay to park, of course. Service was really good. The line wasn't bad at noon on a weekday. Plenty of options for most tastes. I got a BLT, and Sweetie got her usual turkey with bacon. We got Baby K some mac. Price is a little high for what you get I think, but it's decent stuff.

Ordered a sandwich for lunch. Went and picked up my order only to get back to find that they put the wrong sandwich in my bag. Called the store and they wanted me to walk back down to get my correct sandwich. I said that was not possible as it took me half my lunch break to walk down and get back. Would not deliver my correct sandwich as they said they were unable to. Then offered a refund and said it may be Friday before I get my money back! So now I'm out of a lunch due and my money due to their error. This is not the first time having issues with this location. Be sure to check your order before leaving because they have issues with getting your order correct. I am not sure I will go to this store again.

Four days later and still no refund. Store manager said he would look into this and still have not heard back. The is some of the worst customer service I've have ever had. You go to their corporate website and submit a complaint and the same manager who has not helped calls to follow up.

I happened upon this location when looking up an alternative to driving further up north with rush hour fast approaching (why or why did they close down the one on my side of town?). Being on High Street, parking is almost impossible. It was just after 4 and street parking was not permitted, even though I dropped in briefly to ask how to place an order and pick it up. They told me I could place a Curbside order on the app/internet and drive up when it was ready. "Plus points" for the very pleasant young lady that I spoke to.

I drove around the corner and placed it (fairly effortlessly) then droved around when my order was ready. I picked up three sandwiches, one of which, I hadn't had before, the Chicken Club. That order consisted of Grilled Chicken, Bacon, Cheddar, Mayo, Lettuce, Onions, Tomato and a Pickle.

It took about 40 minutes to get home (I didn't beat rush hour traffic and sadly chose to avoid the highway), so I didn't expect the sandwich to be exactly as it would have been "out of the fire". I was pleasantly surprised that it maintained its consistency. Still had that delicious, toasty bread, the meat was fresh, albeit cooled off and the vegetables were satisfying enough.

All in all, I was tremendously pleased and will definitely order from that location again, when I crave it on that side of town.

The employees were very rude and quick to get aggravated at our group.Food was good but employees rude to us .

I wanted to shout out Austin at the oletangy location in Columbus Ohio, because I called in to ask about the sandwiches because since I'm pregnant I can't eat deli meat and he reassured me even though I was ordering through door dash he'd make sure the meat was double cooked for me for safety, and just took time out of his day to make sure I could enjoy the sandwich I wanted safely and their food is always super delicious and I've never had an issue with missing or wrong items. I definitely recommend them any day. wonderful staff, food, and service. (:

I stopped in for the cold brew shake. I also sampled a regular turkey avocado. The shake was rich and creamy. The avocado was fresh, the sandwich fine. Communication in the restaurant was lacking. I gather that ordering ahead is the way to avoid this going forward. They don't seem to be back into the dine in phase of reopening fully.

Today at 3:45 pm I came in to the shop on high street. I ordered a cup of soup
and sandwich. It's raining and I am walking so I asked the young man if he could hold the sandwich for 10 min as I have to run to CVS AND don't want it to get rained on. He was emphatic in his refusal to do that. So I said ok I'll just take the soup and he promptly left and didn't return. I waited 5 min and asked the woman if she knew what was going on. So I explained to her and he walked back in and I confronted him he was beyond rude to me. She was kind and got my soup for me so I thank her so much. He needs to get a job where he doesn't interact with people. #worstemployee

To The Manager who replied to my comment. I appreciate your response. I'm a flight attendant and rarely get to Columbus. I have been to many Potbelly's over the years and always had great experiences. Maybe he was just having a bad day. But the woman working with him was super nice to me and I thanked her for her kindness.

portions aren't worth the price. grilled chicken is frozen cubes, not fresh chicken like penn station. not worth the price either. why would you ever choose this as your go-to sandwich place?
