Great sandwiches and fabulous gourmet frozen food selection!
A great place to pick up dinner after a ski day.

We've driven by this place numerous times and there is always a group of cyclists stopped there for a bite. Now it's a known fact that cyclists always know where the best spots are to grab something delicious to not only refuel but to get a well-deserved reward for all their hard work.

After a challenging hike on the nearby Bruce Trail, I decided to drop in and check this place out and I am so glad I did. The sandwiches are freshly made with an excellent choice of meats, veggies and condiments. Too many to list all of them.

I went with a spicy capicola with caramelized onions and roasted red peppers. Oh yes, it was in fact delicious! I also picked up a bag of their tortilla chips made with asparagus flour. They were crispy and so flavourful. The perfect side to my sammie.

If you need a sugar rush, they do have some amazing looking fudge and baked goods.

I kid you not. This place is a gem. Quaint country vibe, fresh food, super friendly staff. Plus there is a small patio area. If you are driving (or cycling) by, you need to stop here.

It saddens me to have to write this review. I've been a customer of the store for over 30 years. The food has been good (if not a little pricey since the new owners took over), and it's a fun stop for a bite of fudge when passing through Ravenna. I've often gone out of my way to make a stop.

Unfortunately I was in the store today and the owners have decided to take an anti-mask stance, and I can't bring myself to support someone who would so thoughtlessly put others in their community at-risk. The inviting feeling of the store suddenly disappeared.

Of course if you're into the whole anti-mask/it's my right, yada, yada, knock yourself out...

This place has everything - a great selection of pre-made dinners like shepherds pie and pot pie. Lots of baked goods and fudge. A counter that will make sandwiches and other light lunches. And everything is delicious!
