I thought I was hiring a DOCTOR to do removal procedures and skin checks of potential problems with my skin. This doctor has been absent ever since the second appt. He uses other staff to do HIS work. I will find a dermatologist who will do HIS work. Bye Rogers.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rogers for years and have always found him and his staff to be very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He has treated me for several dermatological issues, including the removal of pre- cancerous places. I strongly recommend this Office of Dermatology.

Had a procedure done here that took several visits over 4 months when instead could have been handled in the first 2 weeks. Once the procedure was completed I was not told what to expect for the healing process and when some issues concerned me, I was scolded and talked down to for "assuming I didn't do my job". Dr. Rodgers is a joke of a doctor. Seek attention elsewhere. This guys a Dick.

My experience with Misty Seawright yesterday was a nightmare. I can't recall a worse experience at any doctor's office. If you are seeking a practitioner who is thorough, helpful, and compassionate, this is NOT the one! I had been having severe itching for over a week. The itching was such that I was unable to sleep much at all. I had called over 60 doctors trying to get seen in a timely fashion, and nobody was available until 2022. Imagine my relief when I was finally able to book an appointment with Seawright. I figured that she would at least thoroughly examine my skin, and show a genuine interest towards a solution. Upon booking my appointment, I was told that I'd have a general all over/standard exam. I indicated that I also had an urgent need for help with severe itching, which included no rash. The receptionist assured me that both would be addressed. Upon arrival, I was asked a few questions by her assistant, and then asked to strip down to a bra and panties. You'd think that would be confirmation that an actual exam/overall thorough skin check was going to occur. Nope! Here is the gist of my "appointment" ... She briskly introduced herself, then glanced at me, and said "I can't do anything for you if you don't have a rash." This is a fine example of her complete lack of empathy. I felt like she was shaming me from the get-go....like "Why the hell are you here if you don't have a rash?" I found her to be extremely dismissive. I made this practice aware that I did not have a rash upon booking. Why was nothing said then? I asked Ms. Seawright if she would at least let the receptionists know to tell patients upfront not to bother coming in if no rash is evident. Her rude & discounting response: "No, they can't do that." It felt like Ms. Seawright had one foot out the door from the moment she entered the room. As a medical practitioner, I believe you have an obligation to at the very, very least CARE about people who come to you with faith and trust and in my case also in suffering, tears, and exasperation. Health CARE was not what I received. Instead, I was met with coldness, aloofness, and annoyance.
When I inquired as to why she wasn't providing an actual exam, she said I'd have to come back for that (Whaaat?!) I stated that I was told I'd be having an exam and had counted on that, her response: "No, that is wrong." That was the truth...and she was not taking accountability.  Apparently, there are no tools for actually testing skin? No thoughtful questions to ask in order to dig deeper? This was a complete joke.
With regard to the itching, she told me to go see a general internist doc. I let her know that I have called 60+ doctor offices, and have been unable to get in to any of them until Feb. of 2022. Her response to that: "Well, you really just need to find one." Let that sink in. I have severe itching. Can't sleep at night. Can't get in to a general doc. So, I come to her in this very painful and vulnerable state.  And I am offered no compassion and no sense that she cared to really look closely at my skin, ask me any questions to gain understanding, or help me in any genuine way. I don't care what kind of doctor (or pseudo doctor) you are, I feel you have a duty to care about any patient who comes to you.
Upon asking her to look at some of my moles I have concern about due to a family history of skin cancer, she asked me to point one out. When I did, she said flippantly, "that's fine." To what extent were her education and training utilized in that "assessment"? In a nutshell, I found Ms. Seawright to be extremely dismissive, utterly unhelpful, and curt (I see in another review on HG that someone graciously called it "nonchalant."). Oh, but she said "have a great day" upon exiting the room. What a disingenuous slap in the face. I would not go back to her if my skin was literally on fire.
My primary goal in writing this review is to spare others from the trauma and disappointment that I experienced under Misty Seawright at this practice.

I felt like very little time or concern was given to me during appointments and the "treat the symptoms and not caring about the finding the underlining cause" approach was taken. But he was quick to schedule return visits and prescribe more medications. I felt more like a vehicle to bill and make money more than a patient. I finally decided to seek treatment somewhere else and had a much better experience. If you need a dermatologist I would recommend going somewhere else.

At age 63, I have never been treated so rudely by a doctor as I was by Dr. Rogers today. I went in for a first-time preventative check of my skin, and, while primarily concerned about my upper body, I asked the nurse whether I needed to have lower body checked, as well. She indicated that we could start with the upper body and, if the doctor felt it was warranted, then we could do lower body. She handed me a half-gown and told me to undress from waist up. When Dr. Rogers came in, he checked my upper body so quickly it felt rushed, and I felt like I was just an object. It could not have taken more than 60 seconds, if that, from the time he entered the room. As he turned to leave, I asked him, "so, you don't need to see the lower body?" He said if I wanted that, the nurse would give me a gown. After I'd undressed the rest of the way and put on the full gown, he rushed into the room accompanied by the nurse. He stood squarely in front of me and said, "I just want you to know that what you said just now was very annoying to me." I was shocked and asked what I had said. He said, "You said, 'so you don't need to see the lower body?' I was under the impression that we were just doing upper body. The nurse told me you didn't want lower body." I said I certainly didn't mean to annoy him and explained that I had not said "I don't want lower body" but had talked to the nurse about it, unsure of what to do, since I've never had this type of exam before, and that she'd said start with upper body. Then he proceeded to give a long speech to ME about how I need to be clear about what I want, and then to the NURSE about how some people don't know how to communicate very well and don't know what they want, and so she just needs to take charge. Honestly, he spent more time talking about what the nurse and I had *done wrong*, than he did in my actual upper body exam! Feeling shaken, I said I felt really awkward proceeding at this point after being raked over the coals. He *apologized* and said he wasn't trying to rake anybody over the coals, he was "just trying to run a business here and do it in the most efficient way possible." Then, he told the nurse that today's visit would be at no charge. As I left, the person at the exit desk said they could take my paperwork which I'd completed in the exam room, but I said I would not be giving them my paperwork because I am NEVER going back there.

Dr. Robert Rogers has treated me for several years. He is pleasant, caring and funny, but thorough with his exams. His office staff are helpful and welcoming. If you need a dermatologist, I recommend Robert Rogers.

Saw the NP but she seemed rushed and uninterested. Still have an unresolved skin issue that I will need to find someone else to treat.

This is my first review, period, of anyone. I felt I needed to inform other "would be patients" of this Doctor's rude behavior. I had my first, and last, appointment with him for a yearly skin check. First of all I find the office very sterile, everyone dressed in White. Kind of creepy. I was escorted to a room with an female assistant and asked the same general medical questions, as always. When she left, she advised me to take off all of my clothes with the exception of my underwear. I asked if she would provide me with a hospital gown, to which she said no and left! So there I was, sitting in my underwear when all of a sudden, without knocking, the door flies open and in walks Doctor Rogers with two women. I immediately told him I felt uncomfortable and asked if the Women would leave. He said "NO" and that I should probably see another Doctor since he did not want to be Sued and that he would not see any patient without someone else in the room. I said OK and asked for a man to be present during my exam versus Two Women. Again he said there was nothing he could do and if I felt uncomfortable, I should just leave. Well, as I had waited over 7 weeks to be seen, I felt I had no choice but to continue. After a very brief exam and a few shots of Liquid Nitrogen, everyone abruptly left. The two Women then returned, gave me a few brochures and immediately escorted me to the collections/appointments window for payment. What a factory!
I truly feel you can do better and receive your Dermatology care from someone who really is concerned with your wellbeing.
