Affordable. Yummy. Easy.
We eat here every single time we are in town, and I basically recommend the entire menu .
Is counter service so it's very easy and big tips are not required .
I love the enchilada plate but pretty much everything is delicious. Definitely recommend breakfast tacos as well.
This is your stereotypical yet perfect hole in the wall, Mexican food restaurant.

Decided to grab some breakfast tacos as we headed out Sunday morning back to New Braunfels. It's a tiny place but very vibrant when you walk through. We ordered 7 tacos: 3 potato egg, 2 bacon egg, 1 barbacoa, and a bean and cheese. We got there just in time because I turned around and the line behind was long! We waited maybe 3 minutes and they called our number. I did what most people do when they get breakfast tacos-open them all and guess what they are but NO!! This place used a sharpie to mark them!!! No guessing: BCE, BC. BQ, PE! Well worth the $23 inc tip. Son LOVED the barbacoa. Oh I also loved that they brought in a paper sack inside a small plastic bag!!! Tacos get messy. When we visit Rockport again, we will be back! I want to try their other items.

This place has some decent tacos and great service. The ladies up front were super sweet.
I got the power bowl. It had eggs, pico de Galo, cheese, avocado, and your choice of protein. I got chicken for my protein and it was pretty good.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 31, 2023
When in Rockport, I always drop by this place. The food is delicious! The place is always packed, so obviously I`m not the only one who thinks so. We ordered a breakfast tostada, that was hit! My sister got a taco with chorizo & papas, that was also great. The papas are actually french fries, I know this maybe an issue for some people, but trust me, its all good! The pancakes were soft & moist, the eggs were cooked to order, delicious! The salsa was a hit! We came by the next with the intent on getting more breakfast tostadas, but the place was so packed I couldn't even find parking. Thank you Rosita's, great job!

We went to Rockport for the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. So the last morning of our trip he goes and gets us a Mexican breakfast feast!!! He knows I'm obsessed with Migas, however I was unaware that this restaurant served them...I sent him for a chorizo bean and cheese taco. By the way I didn't post a picture of it because it was hands down the best breakfast taco I've ever eaten so I DEVOURED it, then thought well shit I wish I would've taken a picture.
Everything about this restaurant was fantastic we got midas, carne guisada potatoes, my son got a chorizo and egg taco and I already mentioned the chorizo bean and cheese taco but hey I'll talk about it again.
If ur in, near or around Rockport do urself a solid and go get some breakfast.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lexi O.Loveland, CO013Mar 12, 2024
Very disappointed. My family and I who traveled from San Antonio, were highly recommended to go to this restaurant from local reviews. All the food that was ordered had no flavor and did not taste authentic to Hispanic cuisine. The enchiladas were watery when the sauce is supposed to be at a thick gravy consistency, the rice and beans were dry and had no flavor, the "queso" simply tasted like velveeta, when we asked for cheese on the tacos they put a SLICE of American cheese (not even shredded cheese), the barbacoa was caked in grease yet the meat was extremely dry, the carne guisada gravy tasted like cheap American gravy with chunks of fat, the only thing you could taste in the carnitas was the onions on top, and the eggs were severely over cooked. The only good thing was the salsa and the chips. We would have liked to talk to management, but the line was so long for ordering and our disappointment was so high that we just left without even eating because only a few bites were enough to deter us. One may see it as spoiled but when you know what's good then you eat it, and when something is bad you leave it even if it's considered a waste of food.

Randomly found this place and loved the sign! Best breakfast ever! We stayed in the area for 2 days and went both mornings. Great prices and huge portions!!! Will totally go back if we're in the area!

This is an absolute favorite when we're in Rockport. Hands-down, the best Mexican food we have had in the area. The prices are more than fair and the staff is always so accommodating. I enjoy the folk art charm inside. Thank you!
