A year ago, I would have given this place a stirling review. And, I still would, but with one major exception: They do not deal with mistakes well, even when the mistakes are theirs.
I moved an RV elsewhere, and they continues to charge me for the storage. For medical reasons, I was unable to get there to deal with them right away, and when I did they vehamently denied that there was any problem, that I was wrong. Finally, they very begrudingly admitted that I was right, that I had been overcharged, and they credited me for the overpayment -- to the cent, not so much as one free minute for all my hassle. Then, when I didn't pay for the first ten days (after the credit) in advance, they hassled me and locked up my space.
As I said, when everything goes perfectly, they are great. But watch out for problems!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0

In addition, I had asked earlier in the month that I be placed on auto pay and was assured that you did. You did not. This is my concern. Also, regarding your comment that I was "threating" is incorrect. Please handle your customers as you would like to be handled! It would be very difficult for me to make a positive recommendation to anyone that is considering to store items at Rossi Self Storage.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond. We have made every effort to help Jodi H and have responded professionally to her accusations, both privately and publicly. Managers are not required to make reminder calls to tenants -- it is done strictly as a courtesy. Jodi was charged a late fee. She left a threatening message on the business answering machine warning that if we charge her a late fee, "we will wish we never had!" We have waived a fee for Jodi in the past and cannot continue to do so. Our attempts to resolve this issue have not been well received. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and if a mistake is made, we make every effort to correct and ensure a satisfied customer. Jodi brings up "Eric" who also left a message on YELP previously. The issue with Eric was resolved satisfactorily and he remains a customer of ours to this day.

When I unloaded my items into my new storage unit at Rossi, I felt very confident that I had found the right storage facility, as the staff appeared to be very professional and helpful.
BUT...
They are very quick to blame you (the customer) and not take responsibility for something that is truly their fault. They even charged me for their error.
Rossi Storage used to call me each month to remind me that my monthly payment is due, which, at that time, I would ask them to charge my credit card on file. Last month, they did not call me, and they said that it was my fault that I didn't pay the rent (regardless if they decide to call or not), so I paid the rent + late fee. At that time, I asked that they auto bill me for future months to avoid future problems, which they agreed to do so. The next month, I called Rossi Storage to ensure that the monthly rent was paid (via auto pay) and the person that answered the phone looked up my account and said "you're paid up until the next month". A couple of weeks later, I received a late payment notice from Rossi. Confused, I called and spoke with the manager and she basically said that I was lying. They ended up charging me another late fee.
I don't know what to do at this point. I would seriously consider taking my items out of their storage facility, but I am physically too far away to consider it.

Yelp initially led us to a storage place up the street, and that place directed us here. Despite our inconvenient timing, we were offered a tour and quotes. Really great customer service. And access to your account online to pay rent - which is affordable and in a secure location. Kudos. Also, adorable cat can alleviate the inevitable stress that comes with renting. Universal truth.

When I arrived at the storage facility it was clean and everything was taken care of professionally and thoroughly. I also appreciate that I can make payments online, makes my life much easier! The price was a little on the high side, getting set up and moved into storage was a breeze. I have had no trouble getting in and out when I need to, though longer hours would be really nice. I appreciate the fact that there are video cameras all over the place.
