Really awesome Brazilian food in the world food area. Has great options for savory or sweet pastel, and other snack and sandwiches. Sit down and eat at the picnic tables. Good price as well very tasty. Thanks

I have been curious about this little spot for a long time but it wasn't until I finally wandered over after shopping did I find myself here. I was dying for a snack and thought, perfect timing!

I had a chicken and cheese pastel. He said, it will be 7 minutes and he wasn't kidding! He fried me up some calories right on time.

For me, this was the best version of a pastel I have ever had in Toronto. The pastry was crisp and not doughy. The perfect balance of crispy shell and filling. Chicken and brazilian cheese. I have to admit it hit the spot as a snack.

I'm curious to try the other flavours.

D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s and authentic Brazilian snacks! Good portions, fresh, tasty... Impossible not to love this place! The staff is very nice! I love the Pastel with Coalho Cheese and Dulce de Leche and the Shrimp Risoli with cream cheese (Requeijão)!!! Oh and I can't forget to mention the carrot cake with brigadeiro, yummy!! The ambient makes you feel you are in a Brazilian bar (boteco), so nice!

The staff was amiable and patient with my indecisiveness with such a large selection on the menu. I was looking for an afternoon snack, and the Romeu e Julieta pastel was the perfect choice as it was sweet and savoury! Cooked to perfection with the right amount of crunch, the perfect balance for sweet and savoury fans. It is worth a visit for anyone interested in trying Brazilian Street Food. You are sure to find a solution to any craving!!!!!!

      It is very filling !!!!

I don't know how to explain but this goodness is GREAT! Imagine a cheese chicken wonton textured empanada. The chicken cheese so flavorful and the texture is like tuna. Sounds absolutely different and ODD but is absolutely freakin delicious ! LOVE LOVE new unique ethnic food! So happy my BF stumbled upon this at this low key world
      Market on a Monday!

This place definitely deserves more reviews and all 5 stars at that! Last night I was feeling adventurous and wanted to give this place a try. Usually when you think Brazilian, you think only beef. But this place has a little something for everyone. Outside of the Brazilian cheese bread, I have not tasted anything else. Pastels are a good first intro to the great cuisine. Deep fried pastry which has yummy fillings - we chose to eat the frango meaning chicken which was shredded and to add to the goodness, there was yummy melting cheese too. Not exactly healthy but which street food is really healthy?! We asked for hot sauce which was 50c extra but well worth it for those who want everything hot. The pastels are pretty big and moderately priced.

I can't wait to go back and try their sweet pastels. The chef in me is getting pretty creative and wonder if plantain pastel is a thing.. if not, why not make it one?! Either way, this place is great and deserves all the street cred it can get.
