We had a family tragedy last year with the passing of my wife's mother. It became necessary to put her home up for sale. Needless to say, this was a very emotional time for the family but needed to be done. We originally listed the home with another agent and over the next few months saw very little activity and even less effective action from the agent. In looking for a different and hopefully more effective real estate agent, we met and contracted with Sergio Bazan. From day one, we knew we'd found the right person to help. It didn't take long for Sergio to put things in motion and provide very good advice on preparing the home for showings. Over the first couple of weeks we started getting showings and positive comments from prospective buyers. Throughout, Sergio was in constant contact with the family giving insights and guidance. He was not only helpful through the process but also empathetic to the needs of the family. As we finally reached the point of having an acceptable contract on the sale, we ran into some complications with the final timeline for the closing date. Sergio was able to continue to work with the family as well as the buyer to keep the sale from falling through. It was truly an act of sheer professionalism that made the whole process of the sale, acceptable to both the family and the buyer. Having bought and sold numerous homes in the past and having worked with several realtors, I Can say without reservation, Sergio stands head and shoulders above his typical peers.
