Smiles of Virginia Family Dental Center

We recently moved to Va from Nevada. Looking for a new dentist was challenging. We came across Smiles of Virginia and had the most caring and amazing experiences. Our entire family has been treated by Smiles of Virginia and we recommend them to everyone. Their entire staff, hygienist and doc are so knowledgeable and caring. If you're like me ( anxious and terrified because of past experiences) they make you feel at ease and explain everything to you until you are completely comfortable. Thank you to Dr. Greg and my dental assistant Gillian. Highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Moved to the area so I needed to find a new dentist. This place happened to be closest to my house. I walked in and was pretty impressed as the whole facility looks and smells brand new. The front desk greeted me and was friendly. They have an arcade room which was pretty cool for waiting around and TVs. I got my X-rays and a teeth cleaning done and the staff was amazing. Very friendly and gentle on my teeth. They gave me great suggestions on keeping my teeth clean, like flossing. Apparently that's recommended by every dentist. They must all coordinate with one another.

Just had a filling done today by Dr. Kim. He had the most gentle touch throughout the whole procedure.. probably the best I've ever had. It was an efficient, well-run appointment keeping me well aware of each step. I would highly recommend Dr Kim at Smiles of Virginia.

Sometimes getting fillings can be daunting, however, my care team was super welcoming and friendly from the minute I walked in the door.
Dr. Gregg and his dental assistant, Sarah, were absolutely amazing and took great care of me during my visit!
I highly recommend Smiles of Virginia; especially for those who feel anxious when going to the dentist!

When I moved from Florida, I wanted to find a dental practice like the one I had there. Well, I found it by looking online with customer reviews. Smiles of Virginia is everything I was looking for. Their Covid protocols are spot on. Then there is the staff. Every single employee is fantastic. Lisa, my hygienist is always friendly and best part, I never experience any pain or discomfort. Dr Amber and Dr O, are the same. I've recommended this practice to several friends. Since I don't have dental insurance with Medicare, they offer a plan that is actually better than the one Medicare offers. Really, if you are looking for a new dentist, or need a change from yours, this is the place to go.

I've gone to Smiles 3 times now and I have been very satisfied. The staff is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The hygienists are great, explain things well, and are very kind. I've seen 2 of the three doctors in the practice and while the meetings were brief, I felt like I receive great service.

A friend and a neighbor both recommended Smiles to me because they had such great experiences with them, and I highly recommend them as well.

Dr. Amber DeWeerd is a great dentist, gentle and very intelligent.
The staff at Smiles of Virginia Family Dental Center, are knowledgeable, very helpful, and polite.
Only one drawback, the prices for the dentistry services offered at this practice, are very prohibitive to many. (Prices in all medical fields are exorbitant and should not be.)
It is truly a shame that more who need a good dentist, must go without.

This practice is professional, timely, and convenient. The office staff was accommodating when considering my timetable and scheduling my appointment. I recommend Smiles of Virginia to anyone seeking dental care.

2018 Update: Best Dentist in town! Dr. Amber keeps my teeth healthy (twice-yearly visits) and Lori keeps my teeth clean. Nancy at the front desk is helpful and efficient. All three ladies are very kind and friendly and treat me like family now that I have been going there for 10+ years (formerly seen by Dr. King). Highly recommend if you are looking for a new Dentist!
