I've only been here a few times out of convenience and during my most recent visit, I decided that I won't return. Parking is an issue--they have a few spots up front (some are only 15 minutes). If you can't find one up there, you have to pull around the back in this sketchy parking lot.
Customer service isn't there. The associates barely greeted me and didn't even look up. They were talking with one another. The only time I got real customer service is when I was taking too long to buy something. One of the employees snuck up on me and asked if I needed help. I felt rushed.
The girl talked to another employee the whole time she rang me up. Again, no interaction. This store has a good variety of products, but the parking situation and lack of customer service cancels that out. The beauty supply isn't necessarily a place you go for 5 star service, but they could've definitely been more attentive. Just prepare for the average beauty supply experience!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 19, 2022
I was looking for a beauty supply on Sunday, Father's Day, Juneteenth, at 6:30pm. Found this on a map search. Clean, cute, convenient. Three beauties working helped me find the eyelash remover while I grabbed a quick ponytail. $40 later I had more than I planned but we figured it out.

I stopped into Sora Beauty Supply for some velcro rollers and I will definitely be back when I need anything beauty-related. This store is in the perfect location - right off Ponce and let me tell you, the price is RIGHT.
I was sort of desperate for these rollers, so I was prepared to pay whatever I had to, but I spent a full $20 less than I was expecting to. I also bought a spray bottle and hair bands, both for $0.99.
I could not move more than 5 feet throughout the store without a worker asking if I needed help. These ladies were so engaged, so helpful! I was in and out in under 5 minutes, but if I had more time, I could have stuck around for a lot longer. They have a pretty decent cosmetics section, but not high-end by any means. I saw a lot of NYX products and no-name brands, but all priced very fairly.
I see some previous reviews mentioning they don't enforce masks - they must have changed their policy, because while I was in there (again, a literal 5 minutes), they asked two seperate people to leave because they weren't wearing masks. They also have two signs on the door stating masks are required.Helpful 17Thanks 0Love this 16Oh no 0 - Mikayla M.Navarre, FL021Aug 13, 2022
The ladies were so helpful and sweet! They have an amazing selection and great hair for quick weaves (remy saga etc.) They have HD lace wigs and their select isn't as big but it's a decent selection foreal! I loved my experience and will be back!

There were 2 young girls and a Asian guy working behind the counter. One stated that she was the manager. I walked in and went to the back wall, one of the girls snuck up on me and asked if I need any help. (I knew she was trying to see if I was stealing) I said no, I then asked if she came back there to make sure I wasn't stealing. I heard the Asian guy loudly say we get paid for this shit!! Which I thought was unprofessional while the manager was in this conversation with them. They were laughing and joking about the situation loud enough for me to hear. As I went to the counter to purchase my things I didn't feel it was right for me to spend my money while they made a joke out of the situation. I told them they were acting weird because who as PROFESSIONAL employees does this while the customer is still in the store? I then went to my car and called to ask for the owners info, she said hold on when she came back to the phone she had called the owner and told her side. I told her no I don't need a child speaking for me, I would like to speak for myself. She then hung up in my face, which I then returned to the store, when I walked in I asked if they could call the owner while I was there because apparently the owner told her associate that "she really doesn't care" . The associate had no problem repeating what the owner told her. Speaking with the owner I then realized why her associates thought it was ok to manage her store the way they do. I heard her say on the speaker phone that she really doesn't care. The owner is rude and stands behind her rude ass employees!!!!!

The rude ass OWNER! Please do not patronize this store, they have young rude ass kids working there and the owner trained them.!!!! It's convenient because I live In the area but I don't mind driving elsewhere!!

Nice store. It has everything that you need. Great products and good prices too. Plus the owner is lowkey kind of hot.

Will not come here again! Then it's their attitude it's not professional - Sadè R.Atlanta, GA3512Jun 16, 2018
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service! Grant it I walked in the store on my phone, handling business, I still responded to the girls greeting. No one came to see if I needed assistance with an item that was high up. When I requested assistance, the guy responded "What you need?" RUDE. As I was approaching the register the two clerks were discussing their previous bad day with customers "I don't need this shit". I thanked the guy as I was leaving for his assistance and he muffled a "mhmm". Though convenient, I can spend my Black dollar else where.
In response...
1- I was greeted when I first came in, as I stated above, and though on a business call, still replied.
2- NEITHER of you came to me to see if I needed assistance. I walked half way to the register where you both were and asked "could I get assistance". As he approached he-as if I was interrupting something-"What you need?" You were all the way at the register, I hardly doubt you were able to hear the exchange.
3-YOU thanked me for my patronage and stated "have a nice day" however, when I thanked the guy for helping me, he rudely replied "mhmm"
You do not have to worry about righting your wrong. As I mentioned, my Black dollar will be spent elsewhere with better service. I hope your future customers don't have to hear how you speak so rudely about them while they keep your business doors open.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Sade!
We always ask our customers if they need help with anything when they walk in through our doors. If I do recall you did not respond to us so we thought you knew what you were looking for. After a couple mins, my employee came and asked you, “What did you need help with?” Not “what you need?” I know some customers like to look around before we ask. Then we greeted you out, as we do with everyone with a “Thank you and have a great day.” You thanked my employee and he replied in a nice manner. I’m sorry that you misunderstood us but that’s not what happened and I don’t appreciate when people say defamatory comments about my hardworking employees when all we were trying to do is help you get what you needed. I’m genuinely sorry for your inconvenience and hope that you give us another try to give you the customer service you deserve. Thank you for coming in Sade.

First time visiting a fully black-owned beauty supply shop and I really need something, and of course they don't open the doors on time. Not making folks wear masks. I asked about a few products and she pointed and told me to look over there, not really trying to assist and no knowledge of what's in the store. Asked another girl if they carried Mizani products and she's never heard of this line! Needless to say I left without purchasing anything. Back to the Koreans I gooooooool!
