Had a great first experience with a new dermatologist, Dr Alison Fischer. My referral was processed quickly, and I was scheduled for an appointment much sooner than expected. The front office staff was helpful, all extremely COVID cautious, with temperature checks, screening questions, plexiglass and hand sanitizer in the small lobby area. Everyone, including other patients in the lobby area, was masked.
Dr Alison Fischer was professional, caring and took her time to discuss and explain several procedures and treatment options. She was also able to do one of the procedures in the office on the same day, without having to schedule another appointment. The MA during my appointment was excellent as well.
I will definitely be continuing my dermatological care with Southside in the future.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Robert D.OK, OK04Apr 29, 2024
Would rate 0 lori jodi and medical director support and allow for patient bullying/coarsion to the point of needing to speak with therapist and dont u dare question them for adult convos for concerns theyll boot u off their services and claim its a miscommunication issue on patient part. Better choices and ppl here are the reason oklahoma ranks so low in education. Demand better then bottom shelf treatment

So our son wait 4 months for the first appointment. He was in a full flare up of his issue we were trying to see the derma about when we went. They said come back in 3 months as the Dr was to bust to biopsy that day. We were are little frustrated as he is not always in flare up so it was a risk he might not be.
The day before his second appointment the office called for "Mrs Hudson" and wife explained he us our 7 yr old son. The person laughed that off and the proceeded to tell us we need to reschedule as the doctor needed a "me day". This was her words not ours. They then tried to move us out .another 3 months.
We told her we would go elsewhere... found one in Owasso that could get us in the next week due to a cancellation.
Maybe this isn't the norm for them, and I understand needing a day but to just push us out again is unacceptable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 29, 2021
I came here for my first ever dermatology appointment. I developed multiple issues over the past year and had done some research on my own but needed them treated. I came in with a list of about 6 problems. The nurse was friendly and stayed the entire appointment as an assistant to the PA. I did not see a doctor, just a PA. She was very efficient. I would not say she was personable but she did address each issue and get my prescribed medication. I walked out happy with a detailed plan of action. The only con was the wait time, but I still recommend!

Just had my initial appt with Debra Odi'm PA-C. Exceptional patient centered care from the moment I walked into their clinic! Debra sat down, made eye contact, asked some basic questions to obtain my health and skin related history, performed a thorough exam, provided education on her findings, was able to schedule me for a prompt future appt to take care of my skin. I will refer all my friends and family to Southside Dermatology, thank you!

Katy Trotter APRN, Judy "Office Manager", Jessica Medical Assistant, and Rachel Front desk are unprofessional, disrespectful, inconsiderate, and either lack the skills needed to work in a medical office or just flat-out lazy. We had issues with them changing our daughter's appointment without consulting us, sending her RX to the wrong pharmacy, and assuming we were on government assistance. After all of this, I wanted them to submit my daughter's prescription and the necessary documents so our PRIVATE INSURANCE would pay and then transfer her care to Dermatology of Tulsa. My daughter's follow-up appointment was Friday, 7/23. I expected her RX to be submitted to the pharmacy by the following Monday or Tuesday. Walgreens did not receive the RX until two weeks later, 8/3. This happened after I called to check the status. My daughter was supposed to get her booster injection the following week. This office attempted to lie and blame the pharmacy, then the delay on the insurance company. Long story short, I received a letter from our insurance company stating the provider did not complete the paperwork correctly. The insurance company attempted to contact the provider but could not get a response. The bad reviews are genuine. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone until all of the staff is retrained.

Great experience with this place. Extremely quick in-and-out appointment. Think I was in the waiting room 2 minutes if that, the appointment was quick yet efficient, informative and helpful. Look forward to continue working with this team of professionals.

The staff is disorganized. They don't pay attention to how long you've been waiting. I developed a difficult infection from the Mohs surgery. After 2 oral antibiotics rounds, I wasn't prescribed the next oral antibiotic in the medical sequence. Their fix for the situation was an liquid antibiotic to be placed in my leg. We had to visit the pharmacy 3 times to get the right description. The pharmacist called the doctor's office all day without an answer. The final description from doctor said to place 3 drops 3 times a day in my left eye. This blew the pharmacist's mind. Out of frustration. on a phone message, I said I wouldn't use them again if I had to have another procedure. The staff manager then called back and said that if I didn't get that leg treated I might have to get my leg amputated. I told her, if it's that serious, why didn't the doctor prescribe an IV antibiotic?. She back peddled and I realized she wasn't serious. There's more but why go there!
