The salon is very clean and nice and they do a good job on my nails. I've been coming here for over year, at least twice a month. I've brought my Daughter on several occasions and even my husband for a pedi. My problem is that I feel like a stranger each time I come in. I always makes appointments, I'm always on time and I always tip 20%- yet, I hardly get a thank you when i leave. If I'm spending more Than $200/ month at a salon, I want to be treated like a loyal customer and not a walk-in.

The worst place ever, they're so rude and overpriced for not reason. I would never go there again.

This has been "my" nail place for the past three years. Their salon is ALWAYS clean, they never make you wait long, even when they're busy. Staff is always friendly and they do great nails/waxing. I've brought several friends In over the years, who have continued to come here as their "go-to" salon as well. Prices are very reasonable. They also stand by their work, and have great customer service. They obviously value regular and repeat customers.

Today my sister and I went into get our nails done at Splash during one of the worst weather days of the fall. Im a regular but this visit was quite memorable. I had been there for probably 20 minutes waiting, which wasnt really a big deal because we had been seated. The power on the whole block of 44th into mountlake terrace, lynnwood and brier had gone out not long after. Normally something like that would be incredibly stressful but the employees at splash still managed to compromise and make everything run smoothly, in the dark! I was super impressed under the circumstances. Stephanie and her team did awesome! Not to mention our nails look faaab

Clean.
Good service.
Had reservations and they actually took us on time.
Just a little pricey. BUT that could be just how prices go in the area. $48 for pedi + gel mani.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Vania K.Seattle, WA604601403Dec 28, 2014Updated review
This was my go-to place for a quick polish change or manicure, but I'm on the hunt for a new place now. I have been getting my nails done on and off for about 10 years and I've been to a couple dozen places to get my nails done. My experience at Splash yesterday was the only time I had been concerned about a potential infection, out of all the years that I have been getting my nails done. During my unexpectedly eventful polish change yesterday, I got not one, but two cuts on my fingers from the nail buffer. The lady doing my nail was buffing my nails so vigorously, I feel like I've scrubbed my bath tub with less gusto and force. My skin is not overly sensitive or dry, and I never came home from a manicure with a battle wound... until yesterday.
When my cuticle bed was accidentally scrapped by the nail buffer yesterday, I didn't think too much about it. Things happen, don't they? I figured the lady would've been more careful after that, but I don't think she actually noticed it. She didn't stop to inspect it and make sure that it's okay, she just moved on to my left hand. A couple minutes later, I ended up with a pretty deep cut on my left hand, again thanks to the nail buffer. I was so surprised by the sharp pain that I instinctively withdrew my hand. She seemed equally surprised but didn't do anything, until she saw that my finger wouldn't stop bleeding and the blood started getting all over my nail. I think she froze up in a panic; I had to gesture to the paper towel to get her to give me a piece of paper towel to press against my battle wound. She apologized and explained what she was trying to do (wanting to buff away the yellowing top layer of my nail), and then proceeded to do my nails again... but the bleeding didn't stop. She got up to get a mini band-aid and apologized. Like the typical passive aggressive Asian, I said no worries while staring daggers at her.
I walked out with two cuts on my fingers and a not-so-great polish change (as seen from the pictures). In their defense, I think she's new and I'd previously had manicures and polish changes here that ranged from ok to great. I think I would've still been a loyal customer if they had done a better job recovering from the incident. It would've been great if they had displayed more concern, been more careful after the first cut, and treated the cuts with antiseptic drop, neosporin or something along that line. If they truly care about their customers, I think they would have offered me a discount, a more prompt apology, or something to indicate that this was an unusual incident for them, and then promptly disposing the nail buffer that I had bled onto. Instead, the incident alarmingly felt like a regular occurrence. She kept using the same buffer and I didn't see her throw it out at the end of my session. Come on, that thing must be like $2 at most. You can afford to throw it out! Needless to say I didn't tip.Helpful 14Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Aug 7, 2014Previous reviewA nice, clean place that looks more upscale than the no-frills nail salons I normally go to. If you feel like upgrading your environment without paying the premium, you should come to Splash Nail. They charge $13 for a manicure and $23 for a pedicure. Great color selection, friendly service, and meticulous attention to detail. They accept credit cards and offer a manicure punch card (your 11th is free! Or at least I think that's how it works, I didn't look very carefully). It's been over a week and my nails still look great. It was surprisingly busy on a Friday morning (11am), so they asked me to come back 30 minutes later. I grabbed some coffee and returned 30 minutes later as promised, and they were ready for me. Lesson learned: call ahead to make an appointment, they are punctual! There's no dryer, so you might have to wait a bit longer for your nails to be ready, but I like it better that way anyway.
Parking can be problematic as they share a parking lot with some other businesses that are equally busy. - Brenna H.Bothell, WA101144155Oct 14, 2017
I've been here a few times now and they always do a really superb job. The only downside I've found is that it seems it is always packed (which just means they're great) and parking is minimal. Besides those, it's a great place and will continue to make the trip from Bothell.

Splash nail bar did an excellent job on my acrylics! They made them as thin as possible and they look like they're my real nails! The salon itself is very well decorated and super clean. There's so many pretty polish colors to choose from. The ladies can do just about any paint design on your nail just by showing them a picture. Prices are extremely reasonable. All in all I'm very pleased with this nail salon and it is now my go to spot!

I'm very disappointed in the quality of work. I came in for a mani/pedi and they were busy so the lady rushed to get me done. I took a shower the next morning and the nails started peeling! Not even 24 hours! I have a weeding in 2 hours...very disappointed.

The place was clean and friendly. For non-fake nails there is an actual bar that you sit at, which I thought was cute. They also offer refreshments which is appreciated. Their price are comparable to other locate nail salons and they did a good job on my shellac mani. I found my new spot!
