Can it be possible to sing enough praise for Steve Nemeth? He is truly in a league of his own, and I thank my lucky stars I found him and chose him from the vast sea of realtors, who, even when they are good, I doubt they have the skills and client focus of Steve Nemeth. If he were a Star Wars character, Steve would be a mindful mix of Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Han Solo.

I chose Steve Nemeth to sell my home of 32 years in Echo Park, and he took the job very seriously, from beginning to end. He guided me expertly on how to prepare and stage my house without spending too much money and time, and advised wisely at every point in the process.

My property was a little complicated and challenging due to it being a 100-year-old duplex and having a tenant stuck in it, however Steve kept things cool and calm, handled strange situations with grace, explained everything so clearly, and excelled in the entire breadth of work. Steve is thoroughly professional, and "On top of it" could be his middle name. Any buyer or seller would be very lucky to work with Steve Nemeth.

STEVE!! My partner and I set out on our first home buying experience by visiting several open houses where we met multiple realtors. None felt like quite the right fit for us until we walked into one of Steve's open houses. We told him we knew little about the process and he spent almost an hour patiently answering our home buying questions. You could just tell he really loves his job and cares about helping people find the right home. He showed us a wide range of homes to help us figure out exactly what we were looking for. He was never once pushy and allowed us to make up our own opinions of the properties while sharing his wealth of knowledge he has accumulated over the past 30+ years in the business. Steve has great knowledge of the local area (The Valley), neighborhoods and developments. Anyone can walk you through a house and say "Wow, look at this beautiful kitchen!!" But Steve was always pointing out the little things that we wouldn't have known to look for which would tell a bigger story of the house and help form our decisions. He also made the experience more enjoyable by sprinkling in fun facts (ex: he knew the bathroom sink was original because of a cigarette burn from back when men used to smoke in the bathroom while shaving).

Steve was very accommodating in making time to show us homes and due to our odd work schedules, would even go out to a home and take a video to send to us if we were unable to make it in person. When we finally found "the one," he allowed us to come to that decision on our own. That is one of our favorite parts about him. Throughout the entire process we never felt like he was trying to push us one way or another with a home; he was just there to support us. When we were ready to make a move, Steve helped us formulate an offer strategy that got us the home for under asking at a time where we were seeing many of the active listings selling for over asking. Overall, he made what many had told us would be a long and stressful process surprisingly fun and easy. We cannot recommend Steve highly enough, and we'd give him 6 stars if we could!

From the moment I began working with him, it was clear he was a wealth of knowledge - about building codes, lot lines, specific crack patterns in foundations, weatherproofing, landscaping... everything. But the encyclopedia in his brain is tempered by a professional, humble demeanor and easy sense of humor. It's no easy task to find the right home in any market, let alone Los Angeles in its current state. But Steve was always there to answer questions, adjust expectations, discuss financing, strategize negotiations, and walk me through everything from financing to purchase agreements to inspection reports to closing escrow documents.

This is the second property I have purchased in my life, and I just scoff at how little I knew the first time around. Sometimes you just don't know what you don't know. Even though I am buying at the height of the market, I will always be grateful to Steve for making this as easy as it could possibly have been; he is at the pinnacle of his profession and you would be lucky to retain his services.
