Sunrise Dental Mount Vernon

Took my deposit for some implant work and never heard from them again, which was a common problem after every appointment.
This place is more concerned about your sleeping habits than your teeth.
I've since found a new dentist and couldn't be happier. I even had my entire implant procedure done before I received a call back from all smilez sunrise, regarding my next appointment.

Sadly, this is one of the only places in the area that accepts my insurance. Getting ahold of these guys is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Don't expect them to pick up ever. The Mount Vernon location is better but the Bellingham location almost never answers the phone. Always confusing to me as there's seemingly a very little amount of patients around. When someone DOES answer the phone, there's always some sort of problem with their computer and they just ask to call you back. To which they never do and you're just left hanging. The dentist himself is okay. He takes his job seriously. Perhaps a little too seriously. Humility can go a long way and this man heavily lacks it. The whole time I'm there, it feels like my nerves just can't settle and I'm in severe fight or flight mode. I never used to get that feeling at the dentist either. My advice? Find someplace else. There are better offices out there.
The only reason they're not a complete and total loss is because they DID save a tooth of mine that needed a large filling. That process went smoothly and I'm thankful he did it.

Was told I need a root canal and tooth pulled. Got a second opinion and no root canal is needed and the other tooth is being saved. Hmm.

Always left hanging. Go in for appointment and have to make another because always some issue with not getting it all done. Had some sort of composit done on chipped molar. It hurts to use it. Will likely bust off again. Always issues with insurance and they dont follow the agreed contract they have with with our insurance for pricing but and if u question anything he gets really defensive and its really uncomfortable. Taking time off work to only get part of the work done is not an option. Need night guard but he says he wont do it until all the work is done which makes sense except it takes way to many appointments and sometimes u show up for one and nothing is done because of some insurance issue. Couldnt let me know before appointment for some reason. Cleaning one day and xrays need a separate appointment?
